Hello guys, welcome to another MMA Studios fight trailer, this one for UFC 297, Sean Strickland vs Dricus Du Plessis. After a wild year in 2023, the UFC is now set for an absolute firework show to start off 2024! The new middleweight champion Sean Strickland is coming off one of the biggest upsets in the promotion’s history after dominating Israel Adesanya, but the surging contender Dricus Du Plessis is now standing in his way. A man who is undefeated in the UFC and who has finished almost every single opponent and coming off a huge dominating victory over Robert Whittaker. These two have already gone at it during UFC 296 fight week so it is sure to be entertaining come January 20th in Toronto! Let me know in the comments who you think will win. I love the storyline of this fight were both DDP and strickland were both underestimated and counted out in their last fight and they both silence all the doubters by strickland outclassing izzy and DDP beating down Whittaker and now theses two are the champ and rightful number one contender and I can't wait to see hei this plays out

@@Notmintvr Exactly my thoughts but I think Dricus goes through Strickland's guard....Strickland put Izzy on skates and if he can do the same to Dricus then yes he takes Dricus out but when you close the distance with DDP the power shots come and it only takes one.....nonetheless it's going to be an awesome fight. I see a Parreira and Strickland outcome. Love both of these fighters but I also think stylistically it's not good for both to be honest but this is MMA.......anything can happen. Can't wait!

I don't think they hate each other, Sean is just a little pissed of that's about it.
Yeah I know. I just needed a piece of dialogue that fit their bit of tension they had. During 296 fight week it got crazy so there’s definitely some animosity, but since that scuffle they still said they respect each other. However, that all definitely makes it so much more interesting.

Dricus Du Plessis wins this fight. Strickland has good coaches, same with DDP, but trying to walk DDP same way he did Izzy will seriously backfire
Dricus for the W, albeit a very tough matchup as Strickland is tough as nails. Dricus d first "true" African champion residing in Africa and this is coming from a staunch Izzy fan. After Dricus wins that belt, I don't want to see Izzy win him again, let them just rally around and support each other like Usman-Izzy

That’s a lot deeper than me just using a tiny clip of his voice. Idk about all that. I will say though that he’s got real experience and definitely has great knowledge compared to any typical fan that’s for sure. Did you know the UFC used his voice as well? In the 297 countdown
