Never watched DDP fight yet until now. He is WHALING Till with the hooks against the cage. Im actually shocked that Till took them like it was nothing. Would have put me on another plane of existence.
Well I wouldn't say "like it was nothing" lol. Till's eye was completely busted at the end of the first round.
DuPlessis vs Strickland is gonna be awesome.

@sportsonwheelss you clearly are ignorant if you think that strickland's win against adesanya was luck. Sean fully and completely outclassed probably the best striker in the world for 5 full rounds. There was one round where izzy had minor success but he got shut down quick. Dricus' wrestling might be an issue for sean considering his stiff posture so the fight will be interesting.

Till is really good he got through DDPs defense many times stillnox was a little better on the mat
Till only problem is that he hurt his opponents and instead of going for the kill, he keeps playing with until they recover and they take him out.
He is not as aggressive as he used to be.

DDP now he's had his nose fixed is on another level. One to watch for sure.
His had one and a half rounds after it and still looked a bit gassed after the first round with rob

Yeah - I always categorized him with Dan Hooker, in that regard (and not even as high as Hooker, honestly) - it was some of the easier hype to see through, regardless of before/after him fighting Masvidal.

Till got dominated r1, got lazy r2, got finished r3. He only didn't look bad because his wooden chin DDP gassed r1. DDP was out on his feet r2 but still won the fight.

Till was a good fighter & mad respect he beat some quality guys, but was never the same after Masvidal KO'd him in England.

My GOD! Till with those counter elbows. DDP rushing in getting BLASTED by them. I honestly dont know how DDP didnt go out. Its the shots you dont see coming and THAT elbow NOBODY saw coming. Id watch Darren Till fight any day of the week if he fought like this. WOW... Just WOW!
Dricus is very big for 185, and IMO, his chin is rock solid.
I just watched till get manhandled. Ddp is a much bigger man, plus im not sure till has that gas button anymore.

Till was always undersized at 185. If Khamzat and Shavkhat were able to make 170...so could Till. He looked soft AF here at 185. Darren was probably outweighed by 15-20 lbs here.

Till should train with cormier. Dude was saying all the right things and possibly could have trained him in defending takedowns. DDP is still dangerous even gassed. Bravo DDP
I'm thinking Strickland will smoke Dricus. The only reason Dricus won this fight is because Darren is so lacking in the wrestling department. He could have been really good I'd be would have worked on his takedown defense more and would have taken a slower road to the top. They rushed him when he wasn't ready for the big lights and pressure.

It was probably his game plan from the start, try to get DDP to blow his wad early while blocking most of the damage. Could have worked, but DDP was too strong, too durable and his wrestling was on point. Till's not strong enough for MW, and his wrestling is still lagging behind.

As a South African I'm sorry to say Strickland will demolish DDP, after I've watched their latest fights.
I forgot how this ended, remembered it as a decision. Probably because it lasted into the third round before the finish
Strickland is going to eat him up with that 1 2 combo and cardio. Dup was gassed in 2 rounds 😅
he fixed his nose so now he can breathe better, and you can already see his gas tank improved a lot in the last fights.
By watching this fight you can tell Whittaker wasnt himself in that fight . If duplessis fights like this against strickland he wont stand a chance
Till gives up so easy. It seemed as though he didn't want to be there at the end of the third round when he was shaking his cup. Then, he tapped immediately after Dricus started the strangle. Worse than when Gane fought Jon Jones.
They say that every fight. The guy is 20-2, 6-0 in the UFC with 5 finishes. He’s been champion in every promotion he fought in. He doesn’t fight pretty but he is a tough mfker and dangerous, if Strickland approaches this fight with that mentality he is getting finished.

That Elbow ROCKED DDP. You can tell he believed his nose was broken. He kept touching it after that elbow and got smashed again. DDP was SOOOOO close to getting KO'd then and there.... So close. Shot that desperation take down and got Till down. Shame on Till for letting him get him down after that cross, elbow and knee. If DDP didn't land that Take down Till would maybe be challenging for the title. Strickland may have never gotten that chance at izzy because there would have been no Dricus to decline the short notice fight. Shit, who knows. Crazy though that Till is not a perennial title contender.

The only area you can't punch on the body is the back. No punches to the back of the head, no punches to the actual back.
