CRA will be the company representative for site selection and monitoring and CRC will handle patients and documentation part. Isn't it? And thanks for your detailed practical overview. It is quite insightful as I am completing PharmD soon.
AV was very informative and appreciate your efforts in putting this altogether and helping candidates looking for a role in clinical research. After watching videos I have few questions that need to be clarified. 1) once CRC receives a call from manager to check clinical data for a patient. In this scenario crc will check the patient data against the inclusion and exclusion criteria 2) Screening lab tests performed before taking icf consenting? 3) let's take a scenario where amendment to protocol exempt collection for xyz test and this has been approved by site ethics however site has collected and documented it. Would this considered non compliance if yes how would a justification provided for such scenario 4) Would subject travel expenses borne by site or sponsor. If yes Is that expenses on every visit to site
1question's Answer- Yes 2nd question's Answer- after taking consent, screening is done. 3rd question's answer- Always sponsor tells such amendments well before itself, so no such scenario comes. It is very rare to have screening level amendments on lab tests too. By chance such thing happens put "Note To File" in the documentation. Hope the doubt got cleared. 4helpfulth question's answer- For the trials each visit, patient is given some amount of money which is finalized by sponsor before itself for all subjects visits. Which includes travel expense. Its fixed amount for all irrespective of the subjects real expense of travel. Hope I was helpful .

And if yes Can you suggest any decent institutions for it? what salary can a fresher get? Please answer
Hi can you help out in some of my questions mentioned below: 1. I have done my pg diploma in clinical research and i am a fresher with no industrial exp just basic theory knowledge i have about CR industry which i learnt during the course. 2. I tried for a job and frankly speaking i got selected as a CTA but due to some circumstances i resigned from the company within 2 months from my joining so i did not get enough exposure to my job(CTA) responsibilities at all. 3.Now currently i am looking for the position where i could get to learn practical knowledge of the clinical research area and fortunately i gave an interview for CRC position at one of the hospital today. 4.My main concern is that the hospital/company will not be giving any specific training required for CRC job.And as i am fresher i will not be able to understand things on my own at the initial stage, also in the hospital only one CRC will be appointed so if i get selected they informed me that i alone need to handle all the job related tasks no colleagues etc. I am worried that if i get selected how will i understand that how the things are being processed without any sort of training. Can you help me out in these concerns like should i take up the job if i get selected need your opinion.
Don't worry site trial manager will help you in guidance, as well as CRA when they come for monitoring, don't worry take up the opportunity, 1st 1 month might be everything new but later on you will get used to it, if selected take the opportunity no hesitation of training n all about handling things should be there, people will help you.
