You can donate to Projects from the map screen. It makes it so you don't have to travel all the way back to simply hand in things. Just open your map and navigate to the "Projects" screen option (the cycling ones at the top).
That 3 dollar deal is actually amazing for the game. A ton of people who never thought they would play this game bought it and are now hooked. Smart move
Projects [noun, PRAHJ - ect] 1. Things that are contemplated, devised, or planned; plans; schemes. 2. Large or major undertakings, especially involving considerable money, personnel, and equipment.
Phil Thornburgh If you played the first division, then you must know that the game doesn't really start until you reach level 30, right? There is not much story content in div2, just like div1. So while your taking your slow time getting to 30, everyone else will be at max Gear Score, have many exotics, and built a few very powerful builds already. Good luck going into the dark zone. Not to mention, if a level 30 joins you, it will scale to his level, and put you to level 29. Which means you will be getting one shot by red bars. Because it only scales the damage at the moment, not health or armor, even though it shows your high armor in the menu from the scaling. There is literally no reason to take your time with leveling to 30 and moving up in World Tiers. And let's not forget, they are releasing new "end-game" content on April 5th, which includes World Tier 5. The devs even said the game really begins at level 30, when you move up to WT1. The object of the game is to advance up to the highest tier to get better and better higher tier loot. Nothing you get in WT0 will you keep in the end-game. Not a single item. Maybe the exotic you get for pre-ordering the game, and other exotics if you have them, but thats it. All of the best loot is in the end game. I got to level 30 in about 24 hours total. getting to level 30 is actually pretty damn fast, way faster than Div1. Because in div2 there is so much more to do then just main missions.
D3IM0S This may make me a member of the minority, but I enjoyed the story and the level 1-30 grind. As far as the World Tiers and post 30 grind, I think that’s for the guys who are into the “loot” aspect of this game. But honestly, every game is a treadmill, designed to keep players “hooked” so they can keep playing their game. Hell, I’ve been playing this Indie line battle game called “HoldFast” for two years, and I never get tired of that one, even if it’s the same maps over and over again. “It’s all about the journey, not the destination” Aloha 😉🤙🏼
Yeah, thank God for the Origin subscription. That game was almost kinda worth the $15... They screwed up on that one. The banning was the last straw for me. They have time to wire up analytics and monitor them, but can't develop more than 3 mission types? *Mouth fart*
I'm not exactly a beginner.. i'm 52 years old and have been running through this game with my son for about a year now.. just a little over 700 hours of sheer fun! However, in spite of the fact that I already knew these things I really want to applaude you on the way that you bring this information. Straight to the point and understandable for most of the new folks out there. Great job!! Keep on doing what you're doing and let's all hope for a Division 3 very soon ;) Highest regardz from the Netherlands :)
Some more tips. You can view and complete Projects in the Projects tab on the Map screen. Also, dismantling your skills when you're done using them will cut their cooldown in HALF when compared to letting them time out.
I’m really loving this game so far and it has been along time since I’ve enjoyed a looter shooter. This is the first game in a long time, or I don’t want to blast through the game. I want to do every quest I want to search everywhere, always looking and hoping to get that better armor or that perfect gun, Or resources or mods or blueprints or caches of materials....This game has a beautiful system. I haven’t felt this addictive game type in a long time
Enjoying the game so much! Been playing for 3 days and only did 3 story missions. I’ve been distracted with everything going on in the world that I lose tack of where I am in the game. Definitely worth it. Really appreciate your beginner guide.
Another tip about projects, is (at least in the beta) you could open the world map. Scroll to the right or left and donate to the projects without going to at safehouse.
You will definitely want to wait on side missions. Yes they scale up and yes they provide the “same chunk” of xp depending on your level, but you’ll want to wait on side missions because it takes a lot of xp to level up at higher levels so how else are you going to get that much xp? Wait on side missions so you can level up faster at higher levels.
This is what I thought, as it takes so much longer to level up to 30 now, having the Side Missions ready for later seems like a better idea IMO. That way its not as hard of a grind, AND you get some solid gear out of it too.
@@PitFighterPlus I'm level 29 and have been doing every main and side mission in an area before moving on and I still have a fuck ton of side missions left. There is literally no need to save them. Anybody else reading this please disregard what they said because they are obviously regurgitating what other people think they know.
Don't actually do side missions! They scale up exp and rewards based on your level. Don't do them until after you do the main story and some other side content.
I disagree. Because they scale, they are going to award an equal chunk of experience no matter the level. Yes they award more during later levels, but it takes so much more XP to level up. If you save all the side missions you'll likely be 30 before doing them all, making the XP gains pointless. You're also going to go through all those levels without being as well-equipped as you could have been. By all means, if you want to save them go ahead! But those are my thoughts on the matter.
KackisHD i agree with you, i do not know why people want to rush up to lvl 30? I am lvl 10 and only done 1 main mission, not even a single side mission done. I just do cp and ? all over the map and explore. I cant imagine moving the story deep but leaving an area fill with activity i want to save later?
@@KackisHD I appreciate both the OP's comment and your response. I'd also read that side missions should be 'saved' until level 30. Now that you've explained that, I see that my original plan was just fine. Thanks for the clarification.

DO NOT DO SIDE MISSIONS UNTIL LVL 25+, the reason why is because the last levels are a bi%!^#CH and they scale to ur lvl, meaning better rewards for ur end game. Imo the best skill is the one that gives you xp for headshots, the more points u invest on that skill not only get more xp per kill but it multiplies and get bo us xp.
@@Joe_Litt you are exaggerating by saying "way too late" how about we meet in the middle and say level 20 🤣. Anyway I waited that long and I got good loot by the time I got to 30 and start the new faction i was getting even better loot for the lvl 32s missions. But that is normally MY strategy for looter games at the end of the day you can do whatever you want.
VicRaptor2589 20 is good too. All I was saying is that for the most efficient and fastest way to level up, wait till lvl 15 or just after. It's not how I did it at all.

Great video! I didn't know about the fuse boxes to unlock doors. For example, the assault turret that fires automatically is much weaker compared to the sniper turret counterpart.
You just gave me a good idea for a D&D Character name. Poa Jex, Tabaxi Monk. He fights with his claws and refuses to take a life unless in self defense.

Great video man... One big tip I would have added is about the re-calibration station and how if you get a really great weapon talent, like Strained for example, but it's on a low level weapon, you can use the re-calibration station to transfer that weapon talent onto a higher level / better quality weapon as long as its of the same weapon type.

Good vid though man
This is a good guide, very helpful. ive just started and the tip for the chem gun was a life saver! Love this game, great difficulty, depth, story and always feels rewarding, so far at least for me at like level5. Pretty sure ive already got more loot than 200hours in Anthem.
I got to max level in a week, just alternating between playing solo, and random agents. My favorite tactic is rushing close to enemies, taking cover, and blind firing the SVD at them. Blind firing it behind cover removes all recoil, and its so accurate, you'll always hit your target. And, it does so much damage, you can generally kill enemies in two shots.
holy shit there is so much moding and different ones and so much gear compaired to the division one. Got so much to learn i only got like 10 hours in and i didnt even begin to figure out shit.
From what I heard, you get 1/3 of an exp bar for side missions so they are best to save for level 13-15ish so that you can benefit from it when leveling gets a bit harder.
Hey man ik this is an old video so you probably wont see this, but I just gotta say this is my first time watching you and that gag about the mobile game sponsorship really got me good. Gonna subscribe for that. 👍🏻
I also like that when you take over a control point the NPCs start repairing and cleaning up the neighborhood - and their patrols provide backup in case you run into trouble near them.
Hey bro this video was so awesome and super helpful. Even doe I've been playing the division for so long and just brought decision 2 this was super helpful. Thanks bro👏🏽👊🏽👍🏼
Thanks for the tips, will come in handy. If you come across an abandoned supply crate hanging from it's parachute, shoot it and an item of kit will drop.

This is a good guide, very helpful. ive just started and the tip for the chem gun was a life saver! Love this game, great difficulty, depth, story and always feels rewarding, so far at least for me at like level5. Pretty sure ive already got more loot than 200hours in Anthem.
I got the game for free with my Rx 580 and it’s a really good game
Me too
I got to max level in a week, just alternating between playing solo, and random agents. My favorite tactic is rushing close to enemies, taking cover, and blind firing the SVD at them. Blind firing it behind cover removes all recoil, and its so accurate, you'll always hit your target. And, it does so much damage, you can generally kill enemies in two shots.
Homeschooled?
Gotta get them solo pro-jects done.
Lol Great vid
Oh you might be right...
Canadian
Brits pronounce it like that.
@@spearspearspear No Bitch!
Umbrella Corp. ok
Only do main story to start if you want to level fast. Side missions are more rewarding at higher level
Thanks for the advice 🙂
Yea, i really like those PRO-JACKS
Soo freaking cool man! Just started Div 2 on Ps4 and the News bulletin starter tips linked me here.
Also... Prooo-jects
holy shit there is so much moding and different ones and so much gear compaired to the division one. Got so much to learn i only got like 10 hours in and i didnt even begin to figure out shit.
From what I heard, you get 1/3 of an exp bar for side missions so they are best to save for level 13-15ish so that you can benefit from it when leveling gets a bit harder.
I want that LMG You're lighting those guys up like roman candles with that thing.
then pick up the 240B or M60 whichever they're calling it in this one
The one he is using is an m60. The m60 and 240 are 2 different weapons
shooting multiple rounds and actually killing them are two different things.. horrible trigger control..
Thank Rick i got a heap of info from this, im about 10hrs in and never knew the gear colour stats to unlock perks so thank you.
"Pro-Jects" - Rick K, 2019 #M60Gang
When you get The M1911, Classic M1A1, and the M60.
Ahhh yes. Vietnam.
Hey man ik this is an old video so you probably wont see this, but I just gotta say this is my first time watching you and that gag about the mobile game sponsorship really got me good. Gonna subscribe for that. 👍🏻
Long term fan since d1! keep it up :D
Btw, if borderlands 3 comes out, will you do vids on that too? It's a loot and shooter so I was wondering
you mean Bor der lands?
@@SaintsPurgatory I feel like there's a joke in this comment that I'm not understanding
Just got the Division 2 and this video was a HUGE help
thank you so much
The way you're saying project is killing me bruh...
Same 🤣
@@azpect8960 prohhjecs
I also like that when you take over a control point the NPCs start repairing and cleaning up the neighborhood - and their patrols provide backup in case you run into trouble near them.
I liked the video because of the “mobile game” ad in the beginning lol
Hey bro this video was so awesome and super helpful. Even doe I've been playing the division for so long and just brought decision 2 this was super helpful. Thanks bro👏🏽👊🏽👍🏼
Say pro-ject one more time... holy smokes it was starting to sound like nails on a chalkboard
Lol
No shit I'll like da fuck is a pro ject?
Ya done messed up A-ARON!!! lol
Agreed. Wtf lol
Imagine getting this triggered by pronunciation lol
This is great thanks a million. i couldn't figure out this game but thanks to you I can now play and have fun. 👍
Everybody else:

Him:

Uh-fencive comment dude
I've heard a lot of good things about this game. I'm getting it. Since you are covering Div 2.........subscribed.

"now before we get started, I've got a 2 minutes of a mobile game sponsorship"
They got us in the first half, ngl 👌🏻
Perfect explained , no clickbait, thanks!
People really complaining about the way you say project smh
Another awesome video from the best you tuber. Doesn't matter whether its Destiny, Anthem or The Division, all your videos are awesome
Pro - Jects , cut it out dude. Nobody talks like that
Tony K facts
Maybe he's Canadian 😂
Tony K Australians do... it’s VERY fucking annoying, but all Australians say ‘pro-ject’ instead of ‘proj-ects’
Sounds like how my friend pronounces theater. He says the-ator
Next you'll tell me its tomato not tomato
Thanks for the advice, kackis.
Leveling up quick doing this.
Lmao Kack, the way you say Projects man is horrible. 10/10 tips and video tho 😊
I often want to fight pronunciations, Kack's Pro-Jecks is definitely one that was gettin me there lol
Great info as always Rick. I appreciate how thorough you are. I haven’t even started playing the game yet but you’ve made me want to start
“Pro” “Ject”
Thanks for the tips, will come in handy.
If you come across an abandoned supply crate hanging from it's parachute, shoot it and an item of kit will drop.
#1 make sure you spend time making your character look good and don’t waste this fantastic character creator that so few games have.
13 bit gamer i agree, not enough games have character creators but this games creator sucks
