The Beretta Neos U22 was designed for plinking and informal shooting for the entry level shooter. This futuristic design is comfortable and easy to shoot all while being easy on the wallet.
Nice video on the U22 Neos.. I have the Neos with a 6 inch barrel. It's a good shooter right out of the box but wasn't a fan of the sights and grip so I added a low cost red dot and a. Hogue grip sleeve to it. It is now my favorite .22lr pistol for shooting at the range.
Thanks for the awesome video. This gun only recently, got imported in Greece, by Beretta Hellas. Here gun law is similar to Canada. You can buy guns, for sport shooting (including Practical Shooting). Most guys avoid .22s, because of the limited amount of different calibers, a person may own. It is easier to own more guns of the same caliber. ...short of... But I like .22s more than anything else. Ruger Marks and Buckmarks are my favs, but I understand this is a close contestant, plus a burgen price? I think it goes here for around 450€? Maybe... not sure.

They are about $250 here, if you get one, see if they can get you the carbine kit too, it looks like it could be fun.
as a lefty i don't see the problem with the placement of the mag release. we'd just use our thumb.
I've never tried it but it seems a little far forward for your thumb.
