    Awesome challenge! Probably the best technique you can learn that applies to so many situations. Watch ol Rich Larson - the irc tire guy will tune you in. Gotta get that front wheel up quickly as possible to 12' oclock. will require some loop outs. :) Cover that rear brake. Id recommend finding some nice dirt ! haha

      hellllll yeah! Thanks for the tip! Good to know! I have watched the IRC Tire Guy on a few of his videos. he makes it look so easy LOL. But yes I have binge watched all of those, I'm currently on the " Seat time and learning" phase hahahahah.

      @@urbexcross riding with a purpose like you're doing is the biggest thing people skip. Just riding around without a real goal is how you don't improve. Keep it up! Maybe you can come ride with us sometime

      @@HardEnduroAppalachia I would love to Buddy. I don't know with some of the trails you guys go on if I would be able to hang. But I can definitely do some medium difficulty ones I feel like

    At least you didn't loop! If you ever balanced the see saw with someone the further you lean back the more you can distribute vertical balance. Motorcycle flywheel at rpm prevents horizontal movement so it's easier to fast wheelie with a gyroscope. Good first day! With a 250 you got to clutch up and use that vs compress spring unless you ride trails and need to bounce over logs/etc. Thanks for sharing! You did great considering it was wet!!!

    What is the goal of the "Slow Wheelie Challenge" ? Sustained 5 second Wheelie? 10 Second Wheelie ? Mastery to hold a Wheelie indefinitely ?

    • @urbexcross
      @urbexcross  4 місяці тому

      Yes! Goal is to master and hold a slowww controlled wheelie. it takes a lot of clutch, balance, technique, body mobility, and finesse. one of the hardest things on a bike that lead to other more advanced techniques like pivot turns, double blips over very tricky obstacles. It's a good foundation for Enduro riding since in some situations, popping the front wheel up high with control will keep you safe and not crash in difficult terrain where you may need to quickly change direction, or 180 turn around on a steep hill to go back down vs just crashing due to lack of control.
      it also helps you understand what your bike does under RPM, getting used to throttle capture and delivery. (or so I have been told) also, just looks cool as hell when done right and you can tell if someone put in the seat time & reps. ☺️☺️☺️

    Clutching up or power wheelie in 1st?

    • @urbexcross
      @urbexcross  4 місяці тому

      Clutching up just to get it up quicker. It will throttle wheelie but that = a lot more speed. trying to keep it slow and controlled first.
