I seen your comment before I heard it but when I heard it I couldn't agree more. Man's was heartbroken. This is really one of the best storylines they've ever done
I love seeing Pat and Corey’s reaction and Michael Cole’s individual reactions. Cole being the consummate pro and keeping his eyes on the monitors, Corey doing the same thing and though he’s a heel he even is surprised and shocked, and has to look up from the monitors to see if is was for real, and Pat just straight up is a fan the whole time and has his eyes glued to the ring and putting his hands on his head like everyone else when it happens lol
They defo help sell it imo. Really adds to the kayfabe and immersion when the commentators are physically shocked even when they know they are off camera. Pat looks like he genuinly didnt know what was coming lol
@@georgeprice8929 Pat specifically told them when he started commentating *not* to tell him what's gonna happen ahead of told so he can genuinely react in the moment. He didn't know about the Cowboy Brock debut and he didn't know about Cena coming back at the end of MITB 2021 and his commentary really shows it.
I like how even though you can't hear what they're saying, you can still tell exactly what's going on because of their body language. These guys are very good performers.
Nice to be able to see what it was like from the viewpoint of someone who was in the audence. However part of what made this segment so good on tv was hearing the interactions between Roman and Sami. So as awesome as it would have been to be there and experience it live its just a shame the people there in the audience couldn't hear what they were saying.
I gotta say as someone who has been VERY hard on WWE's content for a VERY long time, this is the most compelling stuff wrestling wise since the nWo days. Yes even surpassing Daniel Bryan vs. Authority, Summer Of Punk and Nexus all of which has GLIMPSES of greatness and potential and some good moments here and there but this...this is next level. Like I said emotionally speaking this reminds me of the WCW vs.nWo days of the late 90's aka the last time a wrestling angle felt truly PERSONAL and the stakes were constantly on the line. Great great stuff. I wish it resulted in Roman vs. Sami at WM if I'm to be honest, all due respect to Cody.
In term of intensity this is still below Daniel Bryan story because the story ended at WM. After Cody return, they wanted him to face Roman instead of Samy at WM , basically pushing the story a bit faster so there's no shcedule conflict between Samy vs Roman Reign at Elimination Chamber. + Saudi Arabai as the big daddy doesn't want Samy to beat Roman due to their pettyness.
Imo Roman has had great heel moments, but consistently not the best heel run, so it's too soon to determine that, just cuz we've had so many other better heel runs. But I look forward to how they book him now with all that heat
I haven't seen storyline like this one since the Attitude Era/NWO at Bash 96. I haven't seen fan reaction like this since the Attitude Era/NWO. 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
There's another video with the camera focused on McAfee, Cole and Graves while this is happening. When the "F*ck You Roman" chant starts, McAfee's eyes go WIDE once he realizes what's going on and he looks around in almost amazement at the crowd. You can see him turning around to do this in the video here.
Bcoz Sami was so over with the fans during 2022-23. He was so over that even after Cody winning, Sami felt like the real main character of the story Holy sh*t.
I actually thought this would've been the one thing that could've made that moment even better. A chair shot to Roman's head instead of his back. WWE allowing one chair shot to the head to better sell the angle. And maybe have Owens bleed from all the hits he took that night.
It would be cool if Sami cut his hair and beard shorter similar to how it used to be when he was originally a babyface as well as getting the old "Worlds Apart" theme song back so fans can sing along again! I reckon the plan is to have Sami go up against Roman at Elimination Chamber in Montreal which is fitting of course being his hometown, but he unfortunately comes up short receiving a standing ovation from the fans. Then Sami finally teams up alongside KO once more, with Jey Uso by their side due to also turning on the Bloodline, to go up against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania. KO and Sami eventually end up winning the Undisputed Tag Team Titles later on, while Cody pins Roman to finally become Undisputed Champion at WrestleMania. The rest as they say is history, but I really cannot wait to see how the story progresses on this Friday's SmackDown and throughout the next two months leading up to WrestleMania!
Wrestlemania is 2 nights. Double duty Roman. Sami/Ko/Jey vs Jimmy/Roman/Solo and then Roman v Cody. Gives them an out to beat Roman in a singles match night 2. Then a guy who hasnt lost in years losing his faction, titles, everything can push into a new compelling story.
Jey was hurt because he lost someone who always believed in him and still wanted to be friend with him even he never accepted him. Jimmy loyal to his brother was hurt but family is important. Solo burning at anger was sad and Can’t even move till the end because of betrayal. Paul being stunned and shocked. Roman lost everything as he trusted Sami more than his brothers. What a storyline what a build up , the ending we all deserve in royal rumble.
as soon they thing goes off air they get up and leave, ofc they stay in character and sell the beating, it's not like everyone does a Shawn michaels-ish kip up and just gets in the backstage as nothing happened.
Why Sami after you b kept saying trust me Roman time and time again he really let jey down the whole bloodline and Paul Heyman the wise man was trying to make it work with him in the bloodline he said it on camera so many times and in front of millions of WWE fan's Roman gave Sami chances after chances why did you let us down Sami see b heard you on stage and heard you explain your self to Roman
I much prefer AEW to WWE these days. But, this is some of the greatest storytelling in wrestling history and the most compelling thing in wrestling today.
Ok so maybe after when the bloodline brake up Roman Reigns should take some time off and then come back as a face because it’s obviously people don’t like him as a heel anymore
Jey getting a massive applause and a chant after leaving the scene gave me goosebumps. That was amazing.
I was there it was great
That "HELP HIM, JEY!" was from the heart.

Jey and Paul were the only ones with shock jerk reactions. Jimmy and solo just stood there and watched roman go down like a routine
Paul is always looking shocked...😄
Hence the reason why Jey will continue to get pushed, while Jimmy doesn't.

Wtf else was Sami supposed to do whisper to Roman “hey head shots are banned remember?” 😂😂 how else was he gonna hit Kevin lmao
Yeah roman keep asking sami to hit kevin owens head🤣🤣

They already did with the 2 year rise of Hangman.
Only punk vs mjf was good ..
