I was due the 12th and my girl came Dec 20th. I thought it would be awful having a birthday so close but I find it makes it all the more magical being around Christmas...and others go above and beyond thinking that she gets shafted at Christmas.

@@jenniferkerrigan8347 he said on the announcement that he is having a baby with someone he has dated before and had know her for years but it didn't seem they were together as a couple right now, dave neal has the video of that segment I think is from a week ago.

I didn’t find out what I was having till birth either but I knew in my heart and soul it was a boy and it was!! He’s 11 now 💙💙 best thing ever in my life 💙🥹

My husband said the same thing and didn’t think he could watch. He did watch a little bit because he was holding one of my legs. He said he couldn’t have watched straight on like the doctor but said it was so neat and really enjoyed cutting the umbilical cord. Also him being able to tell me the gender was the most special thing in the world!
I always knew Shawn would prob do a podcast, because I remember on the first episode of his exes podcast, he was talking SOO much and so excited and she had to take the reigns and kind of force him to let her take the lead because it was solely her podcast (which was right, lol.. he was just super excited)
I already posted on this video, but I had to come back to say this about the most annoying/worst things parents do 😂SOOO i was dropping my kid off at summer camp this morning and she had stuff on her face. I had no wipes/paper towels/anything at the time to clean her face off, sooooo i licked my finger and wiped her face 🤣she was like MOM IS THAT YOUR SPIT ON MY FACE? THATS GROSS 🤣 to which I reply "no, it's just water from my mouth" bahaha bless it listen you do what you gotta do as a parent. but after I did that this morning, I definitely thought of this podcast episode.

all of your 'worst thing parents do' as people who dont have children outside of the womb yet is hilarious. I too said some of these things before kids and yet her I am doing some of those things :D and i hope you can tell I'm saying this very light hearted, not being mean. I love this podcast so much and beyond excited to see you as expecting parents

@@gardeningwithoutboundaries haha right. I used to tell my mom all the things i WOULD NEVER do as a parent pre kids anndddd I've found I've had to call her a few times to apologize and tell her how wrong i was, post kids lol. It keeps me humble haha

Yes some women show “more” than others do is because of where the baby has latched (back of the uterus vs front of the uterine wall). If they’re attached to the back of the wall, they show later on as they grow. I’m assuming baby to be is attached to the front ? Ultrasound will say so

Unfortunately this episode was cringe because of Sami. She’s been great so far but in this episode, it was as if she was angry at Shawn and just a lot of passive aggressiveness from her. It was just so cringe 😬 yikes!

We had the same thing happen to us at our 13 week ultrasound and we asked the tech and she said it was actually what you guys thought it was and that once in a while you can tell it’s a boy that early. So she probably said she to throw you off!
Boy names are the hardest! Just had boy #3 in May, which we named Boone! Hopefully it doesn't become popular now too!

I’m not sure if she thinks it’s funny to say things like “how the eff would I know?” Or “If you ask me another medical question”…on podcasts it’s totally normal for the host to kind of pose rhetorical questions or ask their producers things without expecting an actual response. Get rid of her, Shawn!

Just my 2 cents, the “F” bomb is not an apostrophe. It is inappropriate, wince inducing language. And if you have net heard this, hear it now. Using language like that shows ignorance, not intelligence. I thought this was a podcast I might get on board with, but you lost me with all the “F” bombs. Not classy or cool…at all!
