    Hannah is such a bad ass!! Wasn't a huge fan ( with the exception of the podium move) until now. She is amazing and so strong!!

    Hannah was such a bad ass on the show!! She really outshined so many of the others

    Hannah was so badass on the show. It blew my mind that all these Olympians were giving up at tasks that weren't really scary or hard. I felt like Hannah was the only one who understood that they weren't going to actually hurt or kill you or make you do anything too dangerous so mentally, you just keep going, do your best, and you'll come out ok. The tasks didn't last all that long and she understood it wasn't 'real' in that they weren't actually going to bury you alive or leave you in the room alone for weeks or hurt you when they kidnapped you, etc. The rest of them were just weak compared to Hannah. What really pissed me off though is that even on the last day, when only TWO WOMEN were left standing, they called them 'girls'. I screamed at my tv. They would not have called two men 'boys' at that stage. And Hannah was far better than the other woman, much less weak and was a true hardcore badass and they couldn't even call her a freaking woman. Obscene. I'm like, those 'girls' beat the doors off all those Olympian men you were so sure of thank you very much, give her the respect she's due! I'm sure someone got fired because a 'girl' won and a non-athlete at that (I mean non-professional athlete) and I'm sure they hated that. Those men were unsteady and reckless and not following instructions half the time but Hannah was right on, steady as a rock, confident, humble, endured it all without complaint - exactly what a special forces member should be.

      @@Steve_SB lol 30 years ago I would have, but I'm 60 now and can't do extreme heat anymore, sadly, or lift the really heavy packs. Regardless, calling her a 'girl' after all she did was rude and belittling. They certainly wouldn't have called the men boys, but we'll never know because none were left standing! lol

      @@Steve_SB They specifically called the men, men though right before they called them girls. I get that they meant no malice, but it's a common thing that simply needs to change. It's a subtle thing, but every woman knows it's rude. It's like, no matter what we do, even when we best the men, which we often do these days, they still think of us as 'less' and always find a way to slip that perception in there, conscious or not. They may as well have said 'for a girl, she did great'. It's the same thing. That's what every woman heard when they said it and in 2023, ya just wanna be able to punch them to knock some sense into them, ya know? lol If we say nothing though, nothing changes you see, so I said something. The more people realize their unconscious bias, the more likely they are to change it. One can only hope. We need to get to a time where people are people regardless of gender and it's the individual who is capable or not at a given thing and no one should be surprised or threatened or unconsciously demeaning when a bad ass woman does a bad ass thing.

      @@imscanonif this was real special forces training she wouldn't even last 2 seconds against the men, she's nowhere near as physically strong as the men, there's a reason why there are no women in the special forces because they are not physically strong enough, if you want to call her a bad ass woman that's fine because she won it, but I think the people on the show helped her out to win so they can have that girl power ending, I know there are women that can do physical jobs but how can you say something like "even when be beat the men, which is often these days" is not true, women would never be as good as men when it comes to construction or being a firefighter.

    • @imscanon
      @imscanon 10 місяців тому +1

      Wow, someone's masculinity is feeling threatened today, if you're a guy, if not, why do you think physical strength makes a man superior in some way? lol That's hysterical. You should know though, there ARE women in special forces. Many women are indeed very strong and a huge part of that training is also mental strength, which women can be exceptional at. There are also a lot of women in construction and firefighting. Your need to feel superior is silly. I've renovated two homes, mostly alone, fix my car (and was the only one who could rebuild an alternator because men's hands are too big to replace the brushes-takes skill and tiny hands, so most just replace the whole thing) built furniture, defended myself from attackers, climbed mountains, skydived, SCUBA dived, whitewater rafted, even put out a few fires, and anything else you may think a woman needs a man for or can't do. I'm only 5'3" and 108lbs and an accountant w/ a genius IQ. So much for your women are weak idea. lol Having bulk and big muscles isn't the only thing that makes a person strong and those muscles do NOT make a man superior. Sorry to disillusion you there, but you kinda deserved that. @@illyaedwards7188

      @@imscanon I I'm a man and I'm not saying all women are weak and I know some women can be strong too, and a strong woman doesn't threaten my masculinity, and all those things you said that you can do if true is incredible, but most women can't do want you do, and I'm sure you would probably say you don't need a man for anything? I know there are more women firefighters now, and some could probably carry a person from a burning building but women like that are the exception not the rule, and there's a reason why most of the firefighters are men it's because you need physical strength for that job, and I have to disagree with you about female construction workers because I've never seen one on site but I know there are some, but the reason why I responded to you is because there is a spacial forces show in England called SAS who dares wins and the final had four women, and I was shocked that four women made the final from such a physical show, and they never had women on the show before, and all of a sudden there are four women in the final and no men, I don't want to sound sexist but it seems a bit suspicious that women are now the one's that are now always winning and beating the men on these shows, and I don't think it's good for boys to be watching these shows because there making the men look weak and that's not a good thing for boys to watch, and Hollywood are doing the same thing in films.

    One more thing, I was shocked they let Carli win too because she didn't complete near as many challenges as Hannah did and it was Hannah who in the end fessed up to being Special Forces to win the game. Carli was practically incoherent at that point. Hannah was the sole winner, imo.

      yes I agree they should have let each person face that last challenge alone!

      When I went through sv-80-A and B special forces training, at the end they handcuffed me and two peers to the this chain on the floor of this room they locked us in and told us they were going to kill us when they come back in the room. I picked my handcuffs and helped my peers escape to safety in order to graduate and all 3 of us graduated even though I got us out of there. Seems letting both Hannah and Carli pass is pretty realistic to me.

    2:32 American ignorance! Like Why? Jordanian people are actually very kind and generous people. Also you're always invading the Middle East so you should be familiar with it.

      I'm not American (I'm British), but I think you're being a bit harsh there. I'm sure they were talking about the location being tough because of the heat and desert conditions of the specific part of Jordan they were in and didn't mean to slur Jordan as a country or the Jordanian people. I've heard that Arab people in general are incredibly hospitable - so please don't think that all anglo-saxons have a downer on Arabs or Muslims either.
