    Love the hacks, and love Command Hooks! They hold so much weight, more than you think they would! I have one Command hook inside my closet door that I took down from the old house! Still works great and have never had one break! I have 3 robes, I’m talking heavy winter robes that I call blankets with arms and the Command hook is still holding! I’d say 15 to 20 lbs. bc I like my robes very big!!! So glad Dollar General is selling them now!!✝️🙏🏼❤️👋🏼 Have a blessed day ‼️

    Command hooks are good for light items; heavier things like house plants or shelving with knickknacks, you need the kind that screws into the wall. Those black hooks that screw in work well (I have six). If you move the hooks, fill the hole with white toothpaste (it dries clear) and use a little paint to match the wall. I agree the narrator is a little language-challenged, though.

    I hung suction cup hooks on my shower tiles to hold my loofahs and all that good stuff. Best part I can remove it when I want and it has strong hold for what I need. 🙃

      Tammie I noticed clips you can use for your lights at th e dollar store in December 2017 .
      They looked more like they were for the lights in a Christmas tree.
      However I'm certain you could use them elsewhere. Hopefully someone finds this helpful.

    I tried to hang a wire basket of hair tools in it with command hooks and they bubbled the paint on the wall and failed to hold. Maybe it depends on what type of paint is in your home, but I wouldn’t recommend using command strips for this just in case.

    • @janebrown3587

      1) Ugly (always hide the mechanics, lol)
      2) Adhesive would be exposed to the elements (extreme heat/cold/snow/rain) and could fall off

      Gail Bourne are you using 3M brand Command hooks or off brand knock offs? I only use the original 3M hooks and I've never had a problem. I've had my necklaces and bracelets hanging on my bedroom wall for four years with them and nothing has fallen. If you read the labels, they tell you how many pounds each size hook can hold.

    • @gailbourne5865

      So many of the videos and channels that I watch have the person saying "UM" all the time. I WANT TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • @do9138
      @do9138 7 років тому +1

      I can kind of empathize with the verbal fillers like "um." I teach some classes online, and it takes me between 10 and 20 hours to produce each one because I write out scripts and edit out verbal glitches. But that's for teaching. I can understand why most people can't put in that kind of time. That's how profs spend the summers we "have off," after all. (We have no time off, not even holidays. We just work two months a year we don't get paid for. But if it holds down educational costs, I'm fine with that. :-D)

    • @do9138
      @do9138 7 років тому +7

      There's no reason to be insulting. By definition, everyone has a life. But not everyone has an acceptable working knowledge of their own primary language in the U.S. The lack of care in the production of communication decreases credibility of content among educated audiences. While grammar may not seem important, it is symptomatic of a much larger problem. The acceptance of sloppiness and laziness in all endeavors is one of the underlying causes of the ever-decreasing quality of goods and services in 21st Century Western culture.

    Whoever writes the text for the commentary needs an editor. And the narrator needs some sense about what she’s reading. SO MANY grammatical errors-makes my brain hurt.
    Otherwise, lots of great tips, some I’ve tried after watching other videos 😄👍🏼
