I’ve had a 65, a 69, and a 72. The 65 was good in the dry, but treacherous in the rain. It would loop out very easily and quickly. The 69 and the 72 were solid handlers wet or dry. They would slide the rear very predictable. The 69 was my favorite, with a 585 horsepower Cleveland. Today’s Mustangs I can live without. 😊
When I was in my mid twenties I took my SVO across the median, but I was pretty drunk at the time. Since then I haven’t wrecked any other Mustang that I’ve owned. I hate the bad but well deserved hate they get. It’s not the car, it’s the driver. Good stuff, thanks
