Thank you so much! We love to hear that!! To be honest, we watch a lot of other UA-cam videos and read a lot of blogs about these places to see what other people enjoyed doing. We narrow down the list of things we want to do from there based on the time we have. And, sometimes we just spend a day walking around the cities we visit to see first-hand what’s interesting before deciding what we should go back and film.
The dress you had seen on 3:00 is called a Thobe, is a Palestinian traditional dress, every part of Palestine has his own color. The headscarf from 4:17 are called Koufiyeh
when visiting jordan, when reaching the airport you wont have uber but do not take the taxis they are a rip off, take a bus for 3.75 JOD from the airport to bus station in amman then take an uber, it will be cheaper, and if your going from amman to airport and want convenience again do not take taxis, take an uber. Taxis in any country always try to rip you off. Stay safe
so, the place we got the Saddam Dinar was right across the street from the roman theatre. the coffee shop.. it isn't on google maps, so the best I can remember is that it was somewhere on Prince Muhammad Street near Sha'aban 9 Street
Another nice video! I lived in 'Amman from 1989 to 1991 studying Arabic, and your video brought sweet memories back. Congratulation for the Kuffiyah you bought, it is a very nice investion. I have one now nearly 35 years old, and I am still using it, especially here in Thailand. Very practic in every situation, better than a hat. You can even wet it if it is too hot. But: Arabic coffee in these plastic cups is a no-no-no go. 🙂 You have to drink it in an Arabic coffee shop from the small China cups. And that with Saddam Hussein's notes... That is a litle bit on the difficult side. Saddam was a killer and war criminal (use of poison gas against Kurds and Iranians), attacking The new formed Islamic Republic of Iran with help of Western Nations. But if you are collector I can understand. Yes, the cats are amazing by the way! And the food also is nice (even I never became a good friend of Mansaf. But Hummus in Jordan is so delicious! Hope you enjoyed also Petra, if you have gone there.

Rishi really wanted the Saddam bill from the get go. But, of course, the shopkeeper wanted to show us more. I have no idea as to the authenticity of the coins, but the prices he quoted were pretty expensive - like nothing we would ever pay. So, we happily left with our bill.

Welcome to my country Jordan, of course these clothes that you saw are not Jordanian clothes, these are clothes specific to Russia and Greece, even the embroidery on them, and their price is cheap, but this man is Palestinian and always sells to tourists at an expensive price. Jordanian clothes are much more beautiful than this, Jordanian embroidery and Jordanian clothes are different from what you saw with the Palestinian man. You will not find Jordanian clothes and embroidery in the markets unless you ask someone to design for you because some of it uses gold and silver. This red scarf is called the Jordanian fringed shemagh. The black woman is not Palestinian, she is Iraqi, but many Palestinians attribute her to them. ،،، There are also beautiful places such as the ruins of Umm al-Jimal in Mafraq Governorate, Ajloun Castle, Umm Qais, Salt, and many other places.

This was around Sha’aban 9 St. There are tons of shops, restaurants and cafes around there. You can use the Duke’s Diwan as a landmark for that area
