    I know on my $10 K Nikon lens I put usually a UV or skylight filter (similar to these if they are of good optic quality) Replacing a scratched filter is much cheaper than $2 to $3 K to fix your lens! Seems on a $1500 phone it could be a smart investment! As long as it is good quality!!

    You can actually use the corner of the square lens applicator to take them off! Should be less abrasive than using tweezers.

    Everyone knows that the new phones I think they started on the iPhone 12 or 13 but they have a blend of tempered glass and sapphire. They’re extremely tough. You most likely won’t scratch them unless you’re trying to. They’re very resilient to keys coins counter tops and many other things as well. I keep mine uncovered and they’re still unscathed. And the screens are made of gorilla glass. Although they’re much more easily scratched now they have a way better shatter rating. But that is only the screen not the camera lenses

    do people not realize that these protectors are a different glass than the lens? There is a slight boundary between the protector and the lens. This makes the light refract different and it just messes up the refraction index.

      The lenses are a blend of tempered glass and sapphire so you are correct. They refract light differently so there’s no possible way they could ever last. Maybe work for a couple weeks at most they’re also vulnerable to condensation. Especially in a humid rich environment

    Most of those protector packs come with a small, flat tool to pop the lens off.

    Don't listen to this guy, I got Spigen Lens protectors and tried the ESR ones on my S24 Ultra no image loss to quality the amount of money your spending for these phones it's better to have protection than not have it.

      Are you buying your phone to live under anxiety and stress for protecting it, or you buy your phone to enjoy it?
      I will leave you to answer this deep question.
      I see people obsessing about their belongings, they go further by protecting the speaker holes, charger port, frame films…etc
      Let your phone breathe man. Even Apple themselves don’t recommend all of this nonsense.

    • @GhostAreReal6
      @GhostAreReal6 Місяць тому +2

      @@nasseralsharif It's an OCD thing because it's such an expensive phone I'd rather protect it at all costs, someone mentioned they got lint in the speaker holes so that's why I got the grill covers another user on Reddit did the same too.

      @@nasseralshariftheres nothing wrong in protecting your phone especially if its very expensive one, its their own money own phone its their own right to do what they want with it. to each of their own.

      i protected the lens of my iphone x, lasted me 6 years without cracks or any external damage now i just got my iphone 15 pro and i did the same, no loss of quality or whatsoever or like having a weird glare, i think it depends on what lens protector you are using if it has a weird glare if using a flash.

    • @GhostAreReal6
      @GhostAreReal6 11 днів тому

      @@claxcz it's those fully clear lens protectors that cause glare while using the flash, when looking for a lens protector just have to make sure it's got individual black rings around it, or don't go for those fully lens protectors go for one with individual ones.

    i think the easiest way to remove them just use hair dryer, heat the area like 10 sec, yes it gonna be quite hot but it loosen up the adhesive. or use isopropyl alcohol around it.

      @@AMIRBENDABIhe meant he’s confused, should he leave them on and protect his lenses, or remove them and be more prone to scratch or break?
      My answer would be, just remove them. Apple themselves don’t sell them nor they would recommend you to use them. They’re absolutely unnecessary. Enjoy your phone bro.
