A 2011 VIEW OF THE R1/9 TRAIN @ 2Av.avi

The ever-popular R1/9 Holiday Train has grown considerably over the years, since my videos featuring them in 2007. As seen in this view taken on Dec. 24, 2011, the R1/9 train has two more cars added to it bringing it to eight cars. The latest configuration includes cars 1000 and 1300 into the consist. For the record the consist of the train was (S) 381-1000-1802-103-1300-1575-100-484 (N). Who knows, perhaps one day we will see something we haven't seen since 1977, the last year these trains were in service: a full-length R1/9 train.
