I have some Big Fir that I think would work on a splitter like this, it ranges from 30 to 52 inches, I currently wrestle with it, and hate everything about it, but it brakes down into some beautiful firewood.
What machine would you suggest for commercial packaged wood? I like the idea of the box wedge just for the reason as I don't always get to chose the size of logs that I get and they look like they would burn better in a campfire or fireplace.
it will do it ok. biggest issue is that it makes a mess out of really stringy wood like that. Normally run a 4 way wedge with that stuff. Really appreciate the feedback and support lex
Thanks for the feedback from box. Really appreciate it. If you check out our more recent videos you will see we have incorporated a pull back arm on the pusher. Appreciate the help and support

When I get a 30 in round I cut the center out of it. To make a swedish chimney. I can make a lot of money off of them. For bonfires. Then I split up the centerpiece that I cut out of my 30-in round. Sell it back to person buying the swedish chimney.
What is the price on that splitter in this video we have a tree service and also want to get into firewood sales in the future and y'alls equipment is beefy looking and we get some pretty big rounds and I'm tired of sissy box store splitters

I always enjoy the music in your videos. Thank you.
Man what I would have gave to have one of these 40 years ago. NICE video!
We just ran some 34” oak through our 12-22 today and with over 400 hours on our machine it still pumps it through the box wedge!
love seeing how much things change in just a short time.
Can not wait to get my 22-28 and conveyor!!!
I'm on the list.got another 9 months to go
you need to engineer the center top of box blade cutter and use the return pull are you use on other splitter I think 45D
That wedge produces cleaner lumber than Home Depot’s suppliers.
😂😂😂

Great Job. I was excited to hear you would also custom manufacture the box wedge as I have some pizza oven customers like smaller splits.

I think i would go with a box wedge. If you get really tough wood the 22-28 would be the way to go.

Is there a CD of the performers you play in your videos. I real like the music.
No....most of the music we use in the videos comes directly from youtube.
Wondering what the maximum length of wood your splitters take? Great videos
Standard is 24" but we can stretch them to accommodate
Andrew, how big of a diameter can you go and still use the pull back arm?
Around 30"
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters Thanks Andrew. I'll be giving you a call soon.
How do you think it would handle a sweet gum way back gum on your wedge I see that there is six pieces at the bottom and then the big piece up top

My question is I’m the West Coast. We deal with tons of Eucalyptus,Pine, and Chinese Elm Trees. Ever split any of that wood with your machine?
I personally havent but we do have a lot of these machines on the west coast that guys are really happy with
Thank you. For info
What's the price on that unit and how long would it take to get it to north Carolina?
Its $9500. We are booking into March right now. Give us a call if you would like to order. 613-812-3213
A strap from the ram around the wood would reduce workload a lot.....automatically pull the wood back and reseat it.
