I had watch your all episode of this documentary movie, it was mind blowing as well as blessed. I'm a Christian but losing my faith slowly throughout my life journey. Through your videos and others Christian history movies I came to know that Christianity is one of the amazing religion with great history mixed with both happy times and sad times, finally I regain my faith and I'm blessed as well as proud to be a part of this amazing religion Christianity. I too have a plan to visit our holy Land one day.. May God bless you forever and ever.

Ive been all over the world, was lucky enough to visit Jerusalem, as an agnostic it was not until I looked down on the majestic sight of the holy city from the mount of olives did I feel connected. Once I spent a few days walking the streets and ultimately visiting the Church of the Holy Sepluca did the hairs on my arms stand on end. Such a wonderful feeling of fulfilment and comfort that I have never felt previously or indeed ever again. Jerusalem will always be in my heart and mind, I will travel back as I need to feel the peace and contentment once more.

I pray for Jerusalem for it's people. I was wondering what, exactly, am I praying for? After watching this documentary and other's I realise I am praying for an encounter with the 'Living Christ' and I'm praying that every human being will experience that same encounter. Every moment in Jerusalem is about Jesus. The King of the Jews the Christ of the people of this world.

Really enjoyed this journey as with all of Simon's travels. He has a down to earth approach that connects with people on the ground as and when he bumps into them. This programme was a fairly comprehensive coverage but omitted the Bahá'i World Centre and epic gardens and buildings on Mount Carmel, in Haifa. Maybe a whole programme is needed to give it justice.

This was a really beautiful, eye opening, documentary.
I am no longer religious but grew up Southern Baptist (Christianity) and from the stories as an adolescent I am shocked and saddened by the reality of the Biblical cities I pictured so differently.
I am not naive but it still saddens me... I've spent the last year researching the history of religions and it's not a topic that is overwhelmingly happy.. I believe everyone has the right to believe, faith is Hope to many but unfortunately faith is also twisted into a control for power by many and continuous blood is shed for it.
    Great documentary.

Does anyone bother to put the Crusades into context? No. What exactly is the context?
**VERY important note to understand this information is the term abrogation. What it means is that the new verse is better than the older verse.** After Islam was born there are TWO massive parts of their history that must be known. 1 Muhammad was in Medina when he started writing what became known as the Quran. During this period is when you find verses of the Quran that say very nice things. There is no conflict in this part of the Quran. Through about 10 years give or take Muhammad has a small number of converts. Eventually he and his followers were told to leave and to go Mecca. 2 Mecca is an entirely new world. Now verses are written that direct believers toward all non-Muslim. There are three choices. 1) Convert to Islam 2) Accept being a Dhimmi - lower than a slave. You kids are taken away from you and are raised to be Janissary. You must also pay extra taxes for being a Dhimmi. 3) You are killed. Kids still raised to be Janissary.
The Middle East and North Africa are filled with Christian nations. No Christian in these places were forcing anyone to become one. Whether they became a Christian or not they weren't tortured, murdered, beheaded, made to be lower than a slave, their children indoctrinated to be elite Christian soldiers etc. What happened to these Christian nations? Murdered, Dhimmi and Janissary etc. This fate of these Christian brothers and sisters under the foot of Islam, which conquered up in to Europe and stopped in France by Charles The Hammer Martel and central Europe by the Famed Polish Hussars and in Eastern Europe as well. ONLY after massive attacks all around southern Europe did the Crusades ever start. To get a picture of how many attacks happened on Christian nations by Muslim middle Eastern nations I will provide a link. Keep in mind that the Crusades were 1 defensive and 2 a rescue attempt for those now in bondage.
In BRIEF on the battles where Islam (political Islam) attacked Christian Nations AND ALL Crusader attacks on Islam (political Islam). Direct below.
