Outstanding review. I took one out 9th May 2020 & its a very smooth easy to ride bike around the city with plenty of usable power. Great if you like the occasional weekend getaway. Loads more power on tap but as you say, can't be exhibited on city roads very well. The quick shifter is like silk. The rider aids are everywhere & make you a better rider than you are in reality, but all modern-day bikes are like this. A great review.
Hello Gabriel. You speak the truth. All of your points are valid and the bmw quick shifter is one of, if not the, smoothest of them all. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed my video. Every bike is different. But also every "class" of bikes as well. My ducati is more of a dual-sport "normal" motorcycle. This one falls into the "hypernaked" class. So let's compare it with other bikes in that class/category: For me, still, the best hypernaked bike is the Yamaha MT10. For me it's just more fun bike overall with great power in the lower RPMs. This one kicks off a bit later but has great power as well. I didn't fully go bananas with it as you can see in the video but it was for me, I would rank it somewhere in the "middle" of my scale of hypernaked bikes. If I had unlimited amount of cash and were looking to buy a hyper I wouldn't pick this one. I did like the smooth quickshifter up/down on this one. Most BMW have very smooth quickshifters. I would like to point out that everyone has different taste and some people may not agree with me. It's always best to test ride a bike yourself before buying anything. U might like a bike "on paper" but in reality it wasn't as you expected. =) I hope this answers your questions. If not, feel free to ask me more. I'm happy to answer! Thanks for watching Tommy!
Awesome vid bud idk if you remember me or not just another subscriber but I wanna do vids like you in the future I'm awaiting arrival of my CRF250L then I'm gonna save to buy my dream bike the RMZ450 and make it a supermoto and also gonna be the happiest guy alive when I get it😍 I was also thinking of getting a Yamaha MT07.
Of course I remember you my friend! I'm happy to hear that I inspire you to make videos like I do. I hope you will one day and let me know when you do so I can be your first subscribers! =) I haven't tried the CRF250L but I want to. With some minor changes I think it can be an awesome fun bike! I have tried the MT07 and it's a really powerful bike for it's class. You'd be popping wheelies easy with that thing. I sure did! =) Thanks for watching!
@@Darkvisor and the only reason I haven't really gotten the bikes I wanted yet is because I live in the Bahamas and they dont have the bikes here so I'd have to order um in and they I have to pay 75% of what the damn bike costs.
The backfires are definitely bike porn 😁. My friend bought that bike last year and totally loves, even though he almost killed himself numerous rimes. Be safe mate.
Yeah I know. It wasn't my bike so I couldn't ride it however I wanted. Plus I'm riding on normal roads during the middle of the day so maxing everything out isn't really optimal. Thanks for watching
