Aaron Stanfield wins Holley EFI Factory X in Charlotte

Two weeks after watching his father, Greg, win the inaugural Holley EFI Factory X race in Las Vegas, Aaron Stanfield responded with a win of his own in Charlotte. Driving the Janac Bros., Reher-Morrison tribute Camaro, Stanfield powered to a 7.08 in the final round to secure the win against Jesse Alexandra, who trailed with a 7.450 shut off run.
Stanfield defeated his father, Greg, in round one with a 7.05 and then stopped Lenny Lottig in the semifinals with a 7.07. The third-generation racer, who now has wins in Pro Stock, Factory Stock, Top Dragster, Super Stock, and Factory X, also did his part on the starting line with three competitive reaction times.

Why would you hope it "replaces" another longstanding category of drag racing? Why not just add another category??
