The one thing i'll say as a real life shooter is that with a ballistic autocannon the brightest point of the muzzle flash would be at the muzzle itself, and get darker the further out towards the projectile you go, but that's me being a nit picky ballistics turbo nerd xD. Well done mang, i especially love the lean into the catgirl meme, should rustle the jimmies of those who take themselves to seriously *just* the right amount
I'm definitely here to rustle some jimmies! It gets the conversation going in just the right way at times. On the flames, I took some time and considered whether or not to go more realistic with the color pattern - but instead decided to lean into the traditional mini painting flame style. I didn't get a chance to talk about it in the video (mostly a choice for brevity), but reverse colored flames are a staple in miniatures! They sell the idea at a glance while adhering to some of the rules of layered painting. Perhaps I should make this a topic of a short video real soon! In any case, don't mean to give you a wall of text response It's well appreciated, thanks a million for your viewership!
I've gotta admit, this one was so fun to put together. I think a bit of irreverent humor is just what the doctor ordered! Much more shenanigans to come

Awesome project in every way! Great looking model and paintjob, good humor, and as far im able to tell, a quality video overall! Really inspiring piece of work!👍
aww man, you beat me to the FDM punch! been printing away alot of 1:48 scale battlemechs for my very own lance! It's taking me a while since i've been spending so much time filling and sanding every nook and cranny, but I should just call it done there and finish these boys! The ready-made hexagon base you got is fantastic, where did you get it from? I got alot of great ideas from your video! also, great neuro-helmet! :)
Cleaning up this project fresh of the print bed was a time-consuming nightmare to be sure! There was a certain point where I just decided "good enough is good enough" and got to work with the paint. Sure the lines are ever-present, but really it's less than noticeable at regular viewing distance with a whole lot of paint and weathering. As far as the base, I snagged mine off of amazon for $13 USD: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071GYWQ78/ Thanks for the watch & the interest, and I'm super excited to hear that you found this useful.
I'm quite happy that the "me gusta" moment was appreciated. It's the type of chaotic touch that gets tossed in to these things on a whim (often the most fun part of editing). Thanks a bunch for the interest and a generous subbing! More shenanigans to come in the future 🤪

You're so right on this 😅 My resin printers kept mucking up the parts and I got sooo frustrated with it, so made an executive decision to try out an FDM print. I've since managed to get my Anycubic Kobra Go to print out at 0.05mm layers, but that would have taken an extra 3 days of printing on this project!

So maybe it’s not the biggest and please don’t print it on an FDM I have a fit if I see print line… Just got a Mono X 6K today to replace the crap from elgooo, so once I clear my back log I get my stompy.
