Why makes laws in the first place if we are not going to enforce them. Why on earth would someone comply with laws if they don’t want to? The premise of crime and punishment is to make the punishment unpleasant enough to change the unlawful behavior. No, I wouldn’t give him life in prison for this offense, but I would not have let him off for the previous few offenses either.

Yes some guns are cheap but lol drug addicts and criminals arent buying them from the stores and giving them their IDs and running background checks, no lol they are BUYING THEM IN THE STREETS/ BLACK MARKETS AND STEALING THEM from the law abiding citizens. Criminals are criminals they dont follow the law and they will buy or steal or kill for guns however they see fit. Murder is illegal in every state, yet they still do it. You can make 1 million laws on murder is illegal and they still wont follow it just like gun laws or any other kind of law. The laws on the book are only hurting the people who follow them which is us law abiding people.

    I got nervous when he looked like he was going to drive off. Yesterday evening, a Florida deputy was struck and killed during a traffic stop on the interstate. I was so afraid one of the Columbus officers was going to get hurt. So glad none were. But on what planet did the guy think running was a good idea when there were multiple officers all around him? Stay safe out there, Officer Ben.

      Not to mention, the guy was fighting the cops as they were trying to arrest him, as one of the officers was on the ground running out of breath trying to get a hold of the suspect. He should have also been charged with resisting arrest and battery and assault on law enforcement. I am glad none of the officers got hurt. The punk got off easy.

    Wow I just realized you are soooo close to hitting 200k subs. That’s crazy and amazing and I’m so Happy for you. I can’t believe how crazy fast this channel keeps growing as your second channel is killing it also. Hopefully you were able to be monetized on this channel. Bc you should be allowed to like most police body cam type channels. Either way I know you didn’t make this channel to make money. I love the reason you started this and I love that you have kept on it. Even though I know it must be tiring with already working ft have a family and running your other channel as well. But your wife was right when she said in that one live while I was in the hospital that this is another calling and you have helped so many. Thank you for that. I just wanted to say congrats on doing so well with this channel and to think I’ve been here from the very beginning after you posted the very first video. Stay safe out there and thank you for always trying to make a difference in the community you serve. 💜

    Before going hands on with a suspect, it’s a great idea to get everybody on the same page with who is controlling what part of the body. Sometimes what feels like active resistance is just you fighting against your partners control of the suspect.

    • @kylejohnson8447
      @kylejohnson8447 Рік тому +6

      Yeah they should have let him run and had a little meeting in the middle of the street regarding which part of the body each of those present would be assigned to. After this, the chase should have begun. Hopefully all those in the prior meeting catch the suspect at the exact same time otherwise another meeting would have to take place just prior to catching the suspect.

Between the body, arms and legs all moving, tensing, and the fact that there are more limitations on how much force the police are allowed to use, it is more difficult than in previous times. Most police are not trained in martial arts unless on their own time, and contrary to television, they aren't hand to hand fighting experts. It simply takes too much training time and continual repetition to maintain a level of competence.

I doubt a DA will go for that now that he tried leaving the scene like that. It's really a lose or lose worse situation. He chose to lose worse. I have a hard time understanding why so many chose the latter option.
