That's right! Every week, there will be a NEW COVER to look forward too. From now until the end of Summer, tune in to see AT LEAST one new cover every seven days :) It's going to be an awesome Summer, and what better way to celebrate it than to do a series based off of one of my favorite loves, Showtunes~ That means everything ranging from old-school, musical theatre, to topical, modern Broadway hits will be up for possible cover-age ;) Want to know what I'm planning? This song was easily the hardest of all the Showtunes Summer pieces I have sung thus far! I had a HUGE headache after recording due to the mask and headphones pushing down on my temples whilst trying to belt really high notes xD It was painful, but I felt all the more Phantom-ey because of it ;P The Phantom is my favorite musical character and any chance I get to play him, I jump on it without hesitation. So, thank you to all who suggested this AMAZING song from an equally AMAZING play :) Look forward to more covers really soon!

I like how you change from soft tones to deep manly tones, it portrays the fact that the phantom is two faced and has a split personality. It also displays his fractured personality that was bestowed upon him due to a life of hate. He is part demon, part loving gentle man, and your way of singing really projects this image.

I have been a Michael Crawford and Phantom fan for years, but I must say, in voice and passion, you outshine him for sure. I am so glad that my son introduced me to your videos. Well, that was impressive. I am an amateur musical singer myself and know quite a bit about it. You have a beautiful voice. It's a very strong instrument you have there and you put fantastic emotion into it. Just be careful that when you belt (which you do amazingly) you support from your core muscles and not your throat. If you support from below you will get a bigger a fuller sound even on the high notes. I hope to hear you sing again some day.

Um...caleb...you know love never dies is coming to north America in 2017 and I'm sure we can all agree you should audition as our beloved masked man. Before this video I have thought that nobody but Ramin Karminloo could sing this song. Now I have been proved wrong. You are up there with him. Andrew Lloyd Webber would be proud.

Hey man, I'm a late comer to your party, discovered your work with Jonathan Young and loved it. Now...I've listened to a lot of Phantom covers. A LOT. And I have very high standards as it is by far my favorite musical. I thought I knew it after seeing your rendition of Music of the Night but hearing this just proves it: you my friend are amazing. You have amazing control and tone and gave a performance that while clearly the song it should be, is also your personal interpretation. Thank you so much for sharing your voice with us and keep doing so!
It's so hard to capture emotion when you sing a song. Like, you can always sing it correctly, but sometimes a song will lack heart. This has never been a problem with you. Your passion for this role and for the words and message the song conveys has never been more obvious! It's beautiful and I love it. This song is definitely going to play on repeat for me.

Man - you got to get you butt on stage. You voice and presence to the meaning of the song and character are fantastic. Caleb, you got incredible talent. Get out there, audition. You have the perfect voice for this. Your vocal technique is excellent and you have a good command of lyrics, vowel shaping, vocal tone color and painting of the text vocally. I can see you performing on stage in a musical, even a light opera. I studied voice for a LONG time I have a BM in Education and performance and Masters in Performance inLiterature and part on my DMA ion the same. I taught for 21 years, taught vocal music and voice and performed and I know I am right. You have a strong and unique gift. Step out into possibilities for yourself. Be open and they will come. I am becoming a huge fan of yours. I watch the way you sing and God gave you a fantastic instrument. I would have loved to have been able to sing like you and negotiate the vocal registers the way you do. Great work here.
