- The MF 6400 Dyna-6 transmission with a 24F/24R gear range, provides operators with six-on-the-move clutchless gear changes for all four ranges, making light work of driving on the road and in the field.
it took me a while to get used to the dyna transmission in my 8480 but now i find it so much better than any other machinary ive ever driven.
That is the perfect matching of a transmission with electronic management !This is the heavy experience of Agco in direct line with people need!Dynashift plus speedshift =20000 hrs of work in heavy condition!Strong tractors and in the field almost impossible to beat!
Dynashift is a cool bit of kit!!! Everyone I know who has it likes it!!! Well done Massey!!!
Please, I need help on how to unlock the 3 hitch point control on MF Dyna VT 7480. Please I need the mode of activation and operation of the hitch point. You can reply to my email hollerndan@gmail.com. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Love those Tractors they look Fantastic.
😍🚜😍
From minute 5 on it shows how to set the start-off preset gear ratio. This is what infuriates many drivers who don't know about it, because it is all too easy to change the preset accidentally at a road junction or headland and not know how to reset it. Personally I recommend the dealer to attach a laptop and simply tick a box to alter the sequence so that changing the preset becomes a two handed affair which is almost impossible to do accidentally but very simple for those in the know. Also since a preset start off ratio is seldom really useful, it should be noted that should you set it to the slowest available ratio, there is one step further in the setting to the 'Off' position which makes it behave exactly as if the dial was in the centre, manual position but still with the advantage of speed matching or autodrive.
Fantastic !
Hi i have tractor model mf 6485 and it has an error94 problem, can someone help me to solve the problem of error 94?
Massey is back jcb system
The case cvx transmission is by far the best
I can't find the Dyna shift so fantastic. I'm sure you guys have never tested Valtra Direct. Thats probably THE MOST EASIEST and THE MOST COMFORT transmission ever made in a tractor. PERIOD :-)
Espectacular
I have a person to sell me this but no matter how many times I watch this I can't fecking get it
massey is the best
I'm working once in a while on a MF with Dynashift. Gives me accuut TRA. Much to complicated.
Nice
Got one on demo
Tractors are getting way to complicated now. No wonder there's been a big drop of people that want to work in agriculture.
That has so little to do with the drop in people entering the agricultural industry

Dyna 6 is the worst mistake Massey ever made, Mine is a 6470 tier 2 and it has broke my heart, Violent jumping on take off in forward and reverse, we had everything done to it including that famous spring in the gearbox which was a 3 day job costing over 4000euros, thing is that it wasn't even broke but we replaced it anyways, we have to calibrate ours every 2 weeks or daily if its doing heavy work, can't find and answer to it. when you lift ur foot of the clutch you don't know what ur going to get, from a slow delay to a gut wrenching jerk. Think is i'd love the tractor if this fault wasn't there and i've being a Massey man my whole life. another think would be that bollox of a lift switch, i had a 4270 before this and could work the lift and hydraulics like a shovel in my hand but this jumping up and down switch is bullshit has no place on any tractor
You now you can change the aggressiveness for when you take off. And why do you use the foot clutch. You can also clutch with the shuttle by the steer and that works way smoother than the foot clutch if you set the aggressiveness right. (Sorry for bad grammer, I'm not english)
Dyna 6 is that. The same as whats in a 2004 renault ares .gima also ?
That is not 'normal'. Has the 'bottom of clutch' switch been changed?
To be honest I've never been a fan of Dyna6 or the over-complex Autodrive that often goes with it. I also detest the way that if you declutch coming to a junction, but re-engage before stopping, the clutches slip drastically as you attempt to take off. They may have sorted that with updates, I don't know. However they do not normally behave as yours does apart from on the first release of the pedal on a cold start where the clutch apparently calibrates itself. After that first release it should be consistently smooth and shuttle according to what is set by you.
I have no issue with the lift switch which I actually like. It's far better than that fitted to Deere and similar to NH's
@pallibj Is that the 3 powershift haha..

No veo razon para el uso de tanta complicacion tecnologica para lo poco que un tractor hace Tirar y levantar un arado ya lo hacia el Ford 8N
fajny super
lots of engeneering to make it complicated... if were simple wasnt necessary a video to explain
Dyna 4 was a disaster.
EXTREME4YEARSTOCOME why was dyna 4 a disaster. .?

It wasn't and isn't. It is nice and simple to use without all the autodrive nonsense. It does lack ratios for PTO work though. 16 was OK for 25 and 30kph tractors but the ratios are spread a bit thinly in the working range on 40kph tractors. Hence Dyna 6 of course, preferably without Autodrive when casual drivers or the technically disinterested or incapable are employed.
@@hedydd2I was driving a Massey 6480 that had 32 gears. It was a 2003 version with the dynashift gearbox which could be different. They had 32 gears to my knowledge but I could be wrong
@@DiarmuidKearney Early 6400 did have that transmission which had a four speed manual gearbox with two ranges plus 4 powershifts in each of those 8 ratios, making 32 close ratio shifts in all. This was carried over from the 6200 series. The 6200 also had a more basic transmission with a two speed Speedshift splitter, giving 16 in total and it was carried through to early 5400 models. Both well proven variants.
Tractoresmaseyferguson
Valtra and John deere
Probably the worst transmission ever designed.
According to who? It performs good, it is reliable, and it has showed it through the years.
@@topdoge2632 According to me.
@@rswany16 You, aka no one.
@@topdoge2632 good one lol 😆
@@topdoge2632 Massey Ferguson tractors are absolute junk. We have one and it's our newest tractor out of all of our tractors combined it has had the most problems. The morons couldn't even design a hood latch that keeps working after the first time you open the hood. We've had; hydraulic, transmission, emissions, controls, auto-steer, and cooling issues. They literally could not have made a worse tractor.
valtra e massey fergusson num presta bom é case e john deere
if you can put up with all the fault codes. suddenly JD have become very unreliable.
Worst gearbox ever
WHAT??!! :DD Valtra Direct?? THE worst trans in CVT's. Vario is the best. difference is like day and night. JD is there in the middle, wayy mauch better than direct, but not almost there where vario is. NH is worse too, better still than Direct. I'm from finland, i know all of them, and the direct is baddest of them all. Also, Dyna is powershift, Direct is CVT.. different trans.
RoisinT2 how do you figure the vario is the best? it has less mechanical ranges and only 2 peak efficiency points whereas the new holland has 4 peak efficiency points and a full power stop. fendt system also builds up far more pressure in the drive, it's actually my least favourite design of cvt
RoisinT2 Dyna 6 isn't a CVT i think and by the Way the DYNA-VT is a Vario from Marktoberdorf
RoisinT2 Autocommand is good nowadays
That's really horrid training. I didn't gain any understanding from this how it works. And the rotary switch looks like a 1960s telephone.
awful

The English have a way of over complicated explanation of simple things.
