In India we don't need our car to tell us that the car ahead of us has moved, the car behind us will honk it's guts out to let us know 😆

Evo India is becoming more of a marketing tool / channel over an automotive journalism platform. Conveniently this video talks about all the good things about the car failing to highlight the multiple flaws and cost cuttings that Hyundai has done.
The petrol variant is extremely underpowered with the torque and HP identical to the Alcazar (Tuscon LWB being the heavier one). Infact, Alcazar and Tuscon petrol models share a lot more in common than you'd like - The same engine, 6AT gearbox, tyres, infotainment section, Instrument cluster, and Bose audio system.
But Tuscon is ~10L more on road for some gimmicky features, heated seats, slightly bigger dimensions, and ADAS features (the jury's still out on whether ADAS is a win in India or not).
Additionally, a lot of features that make Tuscon an international best-seller haven't made it to India including the engine configs.
Diesel is the more proportioned one of the two. But with the 10-year govt limit on Diesel cars, higher-priced diesel engines will furthermore, have a compromised resale value.
The pricing is way off for the new Tuscon. This should have been 30L on road and that might have made it a hot seller. But with 35-40L on-road pricing, you can't overlook the vast corners Hyundai has cut on this car hoping that the 'international best seller' mark will make Indian buyers rush to this option.
Question is (to Sirish's point) - Are Indian buyers really willing to accept whatever prices car makers slap on their cars?

Starting 4th generation Tucson at price of 27.7 Lakh hyundai created vacuum Hyundai's car range in price segment of 22-27L which was previously covered by 3rd generation Tucson previously.....This over pricing has made it out of reach of many potential buyers....
Hyundai can increase Tucson's sales figures upto 1000-1500/month from there expected target of 5000/year, by doing just 3 changes in its Platinum petrol variant...
    1. Giving option of manual transmission
    2. Adding ventilated seats along with window curtains.
    3. Last and most important... @ starting price of 23-24 Lakhs(Ex-showroom)....
Bur I fear if they do all these changes in Tucson, Hyundai may not be able to meet out increase demand because of it's CKD production....
