This is actually my favorite fight of this LB, Mashu using her shield as catalyst to summon both Gawain and Lancelot to put down Barghest, who looked up to the Knights of the Round Table all her life for good. Nasu really went all out in this chapter.
@@MrGksarathy Barghest deserved better than live with the rotten fae of this Lostbelt. She has nothing to envy to the actual Gawain regarding loyalty and working her best for the sake of protect the rotten fae.

I like the fact that this BGM has Sword of Promised Victory leitmotifs, added with choir to make it sounds we're truly fighting greater threats than what we face in previous sixth singularity
The fact that this is a remix of the normal version of Fk gawains ost is fun, cause that one was a remix of knight of the round theme from Camelot. What is this Remixception, I like it

This just makes me want to give Doggo Knight even more support, love and care in my Chaldea. Because, as we see here, her NOT getting enough support, love and care....and in fact getting plenty of trauma, leads to her becoming this apocalyptic threat that can wipe out a country. We should all do our best to keep Doggo Knight on the right path. With cuddles and love.
Well she was always this "calamity", its jsut that Morgan had helped her supress it, so when she died and the calamity atarted running free, she got consumed again.

Instead of her initial purpose which was to "seek out the strong -> love the strong -> devour the strong," her repeated devouring led to her nature shifting to just "devour those she loves." By the time she fell in love with someone weaker than her, it was already too late even though she thought she had found a way to beat her cursed existence. It might have actually worked had she tried it sooner. As if that wasn't enough, Oberon tricked her with illusions and mind manipulation so she wouldn't realize this and attempt to correct it or destroy herself for her people. Even with all of that, her last thoughts before succumbing to her Calamity nature completely were to not let the fairies burning her home down and murdering people for fun spread to the outside world and bring ruin to it. With her purpose in bringing Calamity to Britain fulfilled, her summoned self might be in a better position, especially if we can have an Interlude with her in the future to face her instincts and restrain them or strengthen her mind against them.
The moment i went full simp mode for my boyz 😭😭😭 To honor the sacrifice of their brother in arms This lostbelt was really a step ahead of the others 5, never been this immersed since babylonia/solomon

You actually can 'fix' her, as long as you wait till you beat LB6 to max ascend her. She'll actually be able to throw off her Calamity heritage and remain herself in her 4th Ascension line if you do, as opposed to losing control like she would otherwise.

The Fang Clan defeated the King of Mors (possibly a facet of LB Vortigern), thus the clan was cursed with having an offspring as Barghest. Morgan suppressed the curse by her presence and the naming of (Fairy Knight) Gawain. With Morgan defeated and Cernunnos spreading Mors curses, Barghest went berserk.
