Its not about very limited inputs. It's about what do we use to investigate things....religion or science? Science right? Even though science is limited to the natural world.....because your god has interacted with the natural world, we can investigate those things that came from him; the quran, correct?
Also it has nothing to do with "desires", its about "increasing well being" vs "decreasing harm/suffering".
If it's harmful, it's wrong.....who cares what you desire? Desire doesn't matter.
@@scottholder4431 here is the problem we are trying to understand the quran "words of god" through science "limited tool created by us" to find the truth and not the other way around because you as an atheist you see science as an absolute truth by default you choose science as primary source of knowledge and not the quran because you growup upon that and even if science failed miserably many times while the quran still stands up to its claims you will never take it because you are programed that way by society.
lets take a child for an instance and compare it to an old ass guy who claims to be "open minded to anything" we will find that the guys is limiting his mind through science or what ever religion he follows while a child is expecting anything even a unicorn in the sky simply because the child mind is more healthier than the old ass guy who decided to set limits based in some assumptions just like an AI when you only build it for one specific topic he wont answer or take any new informations about any other topic but if the AI actually follows a more open methods for thinking he will be way different and probably more tolerant or unbiased.
in terms of desires you might dont care but alot do in society and this is the price of following this secular mindset you end up with corruption in society which create people who are ready to sell everything for $ even their own.
