The fact she is on final in both clay tournaments in which she participated this year (Charleston and Madrid) talks enough. If there isn't teen sensation (typically for WTA in grand slam tournament), the most reasonable winner of French Open would be someone between Swiatek, Halep and Jabeur.
I became a fan of Jabeur during this tournament. She's deadly at the drop shots. Cant wait to see her in the final. I like how during the match she makes the adjustments to her opponents play. The drop shots are a easy way to get them frustrated. It was nice to see Ekaterina counter with some shots but, in the end it came down to choices in shots. Jabeur is so enjoyable to watch.

I agree with Del Monto below..in fact, a couple of years ago it seemed she had nothing but that incredibly distracting drop shot, now she has a much more complete and well-managed game. Ons has become one of my favorite players.

That epic first set rally was best point I've ever seen on Clay! Incredible rally, every strike by both players was perfect, neither could have done anymore to win that point, total perfection.👏🙏❤️

Congratulations Ons Jabeur on getting to your first WTA 1000 final. She seems unbeatable right now. She might be almost as unbeatable as Swiatek is maybe more. Ons Jabeur is awesome tennis player. She is so strong. Her style of play is similar to that of Ash Barty's. Ons Jabeur sometimes uses something similar to Ash Barty's slice backhand. Amazing win by Ons Jabeur. I hope that she wins this tournament. She deserves to win this tournamet

@@edalive9739 Because Halep's match vs Jabeur was rigged. This match wasn't. Even if Alexandrova played against Halep, she would have still badly lost.
@@edalive9739 It was. Simona Halep is queen of clay and she is far superior to Ons Jabeur. The score feels wrong. If to compare their skill levels, then score shouldn't have been like that at all. Score should have been much closer than that. In fact I like both Halep and Jabeur equally. Both are such awesome tennis players. Especially Jabeur. She has great potential. Ons Jabeur. Maybe you are right. I am perhaps overreacting. I hope that Jabeur wins this tournament. I think that Jabeur won that match against Halep fair and square.

And I simply said that Ons employs similar style of play as Ashleigh Barty. Of course Ashleigh Barty is far better than Ons Jabeur, I am not denying that. In terms of appearance, Ons Jabeur is far more beautiful, than Iga Swiatek and Ashleigh Barty. Although I do think that Iga Swiatek is kinda pretty. Ashleigh Barty too is pretty enough. In terms who is best out of those thee, Ashleigh Barty clearly is best, Iga Swiatek is second best and Ons Jabeur is third best. In terms who out those three is most beautiful: Ons Jabeur is the most beautiful, Ashleigh Barty is the second most beautiful and Iga Swiatek is the third most beautiful female tennis player.
Ons plays some of the most exciting tennis these days. Even though I’m an American I’m rooting for her over Pegula.
To see the player who lost laugh so naturally while handshaking at the end, is so rare and admirable. After all, this is a sport, not a war!

Best dropshot of all time in tennis
She doest have the track record yet for Dropshot GOAT....although I do agree, it's quite a fantastic dropshot. But the queen of the drop shot is Chris Evert, best drop shot in the history of women's tennis. But right now who has the best drop shot? Yes its Ons no doubt.
@GH Sense - No doubt hers is fabulous, but have you ever seen Fabrice Santoro play? He had a tremendous drop shot as well.
She's one of the best.Irina Spirlea also had amazing dropshots.

What a rally starting at 3.09. It's true what the commentator said. Clay court tennis at its finest. This is why clay court tennis is better than the other surfaces because it's like watching the tennis equivalent of a chess match when you see 2 players trying to outsmart the other like this.
