this patch lets you change ANYTHING you want. and i mean everything. you can change how fast you move how strong your weapon is you can give you and the boss 1 health and their weaknesses
The change to those side paths with the spikes in rainy turtoloid's stage is probably the best one here since now you don't need to take damage just to be able to walk over them.
To be honest I think they should've made Gate receive less damage when they removed his damage resistance from X's buster and saber. But I guess since he's a fakeout villain it works.

X6 WAS a f*ckup. It was a pointless game that didn’t need to be made. It totally destroyed any sense of tragedy, sadness or (most importantly) significance regarding Zero’s heroic sacrifice at the end of X5 and, to add insult to injury, brought him back in one of the most bullsh*t explanations for the “thought-to-be-dead-character-being-revived” plot device I’ve ever seen in a video game.

Although the explanation was bad with the whole," I hid myself to repair myself" thing. Though I heard in the Japanese translation no such thing was said and zero says an old man repaired him.

Ohhhhh Mega Man X6 Tweaks :3 I used to watch it on KRT channel. She does the no dash, no charger shot and no damage challenges. It's good that fans of this series can get to know her better =))
Some of these tweaks are good, and some of them make the game even more intolerable, which is quite a feat. The fact that Nightmares don't just fuck off when you kill them twice is a major issue in Metal Shark Player's stage in particular.
Another spectacular run on the game that could had been much better if given much more care, creativity and better translation. The tweaks that I spy during the No damage run: -X-Buster can destroy enemies & boxes that requires use of the Z-Saber. -X has an Air-Dash by default. -Different segments of the 8 Maverick Boss stages including Maverick spawning points, added platforms, Hazard removal & Hostages placements were rebalanced. -Most Maverick Bosses got slight buffs with Attack pattern mix-ups and/or received more health. -Infinity Majinion doesn't multiply after getting hit be a Charge Shot. -NO NIGHTMARE EFFECT. -Nightmare Zones like Weapon Center & Amazon Area has been re-worked. -Secret Lab Part 1 got nerfed in Stage difficulty include Less Spiny Hazards, Maverick Cluster Spawns and, Mother Nightmare's Boss fight including Health reduction & more tolerable attack patterns. -Secret Lab Part 2 & 3 had been re-worked/rebalanced as far as platforming concerns. -Gate got nerfed in reduced movement speed and is no longer invulnerable to attacks such as X-Buster or Z-Saber. -Nightmare Sigma's health got severely reduced.

I'm def gonna get this rom and TWEAKS. Call me insane, but X6 is my favorite of the series. Its level design, though awful, introduced a level of difficulty that I enjoyed tackling. Blade Armor X is my favorite armor and Zero iteration here is also my favorite (though screw that attack + up BS input). Can't wait to play X6 with the QoL changes.

I used to play this game, I used to run to get to the finish line as quickly as possible but now I quite like the No Damage trend, and many times when I think this trend, I also tried this trend at all 8 Megaman X and me now I have less Damage than before, although I have not been No Damage.

you can change the script to a better translated one and iirc you can silence the japanese audio in the cuntscenes. there are a lot of tweaks you can also do to the game

So I checked the patch notes on the patch and... honestly, some of the stuff it offers is great, but others I never had a problem with at all: -"Blue Orbs left alone won’t turn back into a Nightmare Virus" This was never a problem for me and honestly I was fine with it if I didn't collect in time, that I basically would have to deal with them again with no reward. -"Shared Character Stats" Eh... shared ranks saves the grind, and I guess shared heart tanks is nifty, but I guess this never was an issue for me and allowed both X and Zero to feel unique to each other. -"“Exit Stage” button always available." This was never an issue for me either. I honestly cannot think of a situation where it'd be helpful unless I got an armor part and didn't want to deal with the boss for some reason. Despite that, it has the best change ever: "Nightmare Snake health bar has been cut in half" THANK YOU, GOD! I friggen hated that thing! It was too tanky for no reason other than to waste my time!
All changes are optional. You can turn them on or off, and in many cases, even make your own tweaks. Such as to boss ai, attack damage, resistances, and health. Or the damage and frame data of your attacks.
Did it have all the same tweaks in the video? The best I could find was tweaks patcher 2.5. Which had some, but not all of the changes in the video. Such as stage, music , and boss redesigns, as well as that flashy new x saber animation.
When i see the impassable part at 1:17:53. He did use hex editor to change the platform on that stage which is not available on 2.5 version of the tweaks

Well you already know that only Gate's own attack can damage him right? So there would be no reason to remove the damage that he takes.
A reworked x6 that makes it look pretty much tolerable.
Wish that bosses also got some AI reworks.
