Is it just the BlackBerry apps on BlackBerry's that are going EOL? I just moved to Titan Pocket but installed BlackBerry apps from play store and seriously considering the monthly subs to keep them. What will happen to those subs in August? Oh, and Happy Birthday!! 🎂
I've used BB's for over 18 years - I just prefer a real keyboard. I think Blackberry as a Company have shown little loyalty towards their customer base. I currently use a Key2 and love it for its OS, build quality and the size is just right. I'm seriously thinking of going to the Unihertz Titan for my next phone (which you reviewed - thanks) as it is very similar to the Passport I used previously. My concern is how long it will be supported or how often security updates etc will be issued as this is a "Kickstarter project" ? Some of us don't want a new phone every year we want build quality, value for money and reliability and will be loyal to a brand if that loyalty is reciprocated. (I've taken a lot of jibes from non BB users over the years but remained loyal to the brand and never wanted an iPhone and did want a physical keyboard. I feel very disappointed with the way Blackberry has "progressed").
Happy Birthday!!! I'm ready and waiting (with my Key 2) for the OM phone! Saw a YT vid yesterday that said it will be a Key 3 and it listed all kinds of specs over fancy promo footage, but no one else seems to be commenting on that, so I have my doubts about the veracity, but we'll see (apparently soon). Standing by! Oh, and six kids? Time for a vasectomy, brother!
Hello there, can somebody help me find a BB service in North Italy or South Austria for my two Passport phones? Almost new devices, one with the lcd broken and the other just took some water I think.... Thank you in advance
Happy birthday and thank you for keeping us updated. I'm still using my KEY2. I have keyboard issues and auto word fills, so will be happy when a new phone arrives. Really not interested in anything else out there.
I still have Blackberry Motion which has no problems except that I had to change the battery after it died. Now, I'm back in business as the phone still works great and still controls any new apps and their security of the apps. One thing that I don't like about Android, is that I have 2 tablets that I purchased some time ago and they have already stopped updating and on one of my older Samsung Tablets, any new apps loaded on it, fail.
Don't know if anyone can help me, I have a playbook, I hadn't used it for a year, and I thought I could use it for videos & music. Unfortunately I couldn't remember the pass, and it was wiped, just after the 6th. As it started the reload it asks you for your wife pass & try's to go to a page to register, evidently Blackberry took those pages down, so essentially it's a brick. Does anyone know of a way to bypass or to skip this step, I'm not looking for big updates or, anything special, I just want to continue using a great piece of hardware.... that was once a pretty nice & expensive piece of tech... anyone?
@@TechOdyssey I know folks are using the launcher to configure titan pockets w/ hub, etc, so maybe we'll get a brand new version with onward mobility b/c of the swipe function? Imagine you can't answer w/ NDA -- just thinking outloud b/c I like the BB Android experience (at least as far as androids go, prefer BB10 between all the BB android editions, even partial)...
So what does this mean for those of us paying BlackBerry Subscription for the Play Store Blackberry apps each month to run their programs on our Android phones such as Samsung, Pixel, etc.? Will BlackBerry maintain the apps in their Play Store subscription service or will BlackBerry end the subscription service when they end support for their software?
Thanks for continuing the BlackBerry videos even if the news isn't too favourable these days. I've put my order in for the Titan Pocket and appreciate your earlier reviews! Do you still use it and if so, how is it holding up? Cheers and stay safe!
I was going to buy the Titan but will they work when 3G gets shut down? Verizon will flip the switch December 31, 2022 Titan's work on 4G and 5G? I'm on Verizon. I've had LG phones, then move to BlackBerry Classic, Priv and then to Key One, which I'm using right now.
@@marthaparedes2288 From my understanding the blackberry classic may still text, make calls and access the internet depending on the carrier, but anything that depends on any support from BlackBerry or their servers won't work. But I got rid of my BB10 devices ahead of time, because I realized it was a done deal.

Hello, I've always loved blackberry phones even though I never had the chance to own one, is there any keyboard phone worth buying in 2022 other then Unihertz?
I've been a steady Blackberry user since 2009. Unfortunately, I had to jump ship because of 3g being shut down. The Samsung Flip3 5g is my first non Blackberry device. I don't think I'll be going back.

hi, adam, I'm Kerem from Turkey. and I bought this phone on this day. zero closed box
BLACKBERRY WILL YOU PLEASE DISCIPLINE ONWARD MOBILITY???
Happy Birthday!!! I'm ready and waiting (with my Key 2) for the OM phone! Saw a YT vid yesterday that said it will be a Key 3 and it listed all kinds of specs over fancy promo footage, but no one else seems to be commenting on that, so I have my doubts about the veracity, but we'll see (apparently soon). Standing by! Oh, and six kids? Time for a vasectomy, brother!
happy birthday! thanks for the BB info.
Thank you. And you’re welcome
Happy Birthday to you! I appreciate all you do.
Is there any possibility to change blackberry os to android os for Blackberry passport.
Happy birthday!! Thanks for all you do.
Thank you very much. And you’re welcome!
thank you and happy birthday ^^ would you still install blackberry launcher on a new android phone like you showed a few videos back?
You’re welcome. Personally I wouldn’t because I don’t care for it and it’s not optimized for Android 9 or newer with swipe gestures.
Where are the darn new ones by OM?
Hi,i’d like to ask you about my bb world app, twitter stop working, there’s a
Solution of that.Thx.
bro my key2 still works fine on at&t
Cool
Thanks bro for you update and happy birthday
You're welcome. And thank you.
Hello there, can somebody help me find a BB service in North Italy or South Austria for my two Passport phones? Almost new devices, one with the lcd broken and the other just took some water I think.... Thank you in advance
Still running a Motion, Keyone and Key2, glad to hear they'll still work. Great phones!
Yup yup.
Does anyone know of a way to bypass or to skip this step, I'm not looking for big updates or, anything special, I just want to continue using a great piece of hardware.... that was once a pretty nice & expensive piece of tech... anyone?
If Onward Mobility does put out a new BlackBerry phone, will that phone come with new versions of BlackBerry software?
Happy birthday from a longtime Key2 owner
Thank you!
What does the loss of blackberry launcher mean for the onward mobility UI?
likely little impact at all seeing as the launcher is like 6 years old and terribly out of date and not optimized for swipe gestures.
Great video 👍 glad to hear my BlackBerry Priv can live on!
Thanks for continuing the BlackBerry videos even if the news isn't too favourable these days. I've put my order in for the Titan Pocket and appreciate your earlier reviews! Do you still use it and if so, how is it holding up? Cheers and stay safe!
I'm looking to do the same. I'm still using a Key2 LE and a Priv. But I'm really digging the indestructability of those Titan phones.
I was going to buy the Titan but will they work when 3G gets shut down? Verizon will flip the switch December 31, 2022
Titan's work on 4G and 5G?
I'm on Verizon. I've had LG phones, then move to BlackBerry Classic, Priv and then to Key One, which I'm using right now.
So I am confused is black berry clasic still will work too?
@@marthaparedes2288 From my understanding the blackberry classic may still text, make calls and access the internet depending on the carrier, but anything that depends on any support from BlackBerry or their servers won't work. But I got rid of my BB10 devices ahead of time, because I realized it was a done deal.
6 kids? Well done brother! May god bless u and your family
May God bless your wife!!
@@francie5161 thnx!
Great channel. So what to do about BB password keeper. Can you recommend alternatives?
Hey TechOdyssey thanks again for being Blackberry Champion and keeping us informed (the most valuable ressource after love and friendship! Don't do too much to get your health in danger we need you on the long long run and we care about your Brother Adam! We will be there whaever the time between your posts! God bless you and your wonderful family !
Thank you, Tommy. I appreciate it.
My BlackBerry key2 is still going pretty strong... I was considering a titan slim..... But, I can't get past how thick and bulky it is... and the fact I can't say it's a BlackBerry... my vanity is preventing me from moving on.
Will Blackberry Classic still have functionality ?
It doesn’t run in Android
Hello, I have a question please, does Blackberry Hib+Service work on this phone? Thank you for your anticipated response.
Always been fan and support for BB, currently using KEYOne, which next phone do you recommend for me to buy.
At what price point and region?
I have switched to Samsung S22 ultra after being a fan of BB for 13-14 years
I AM stressed. In a recent video you sort of/almost said something about Motorola. If ever I cannot use my Key1 and cannot get a new BlackBerry, that would be my second choice. The very tiny Motorola with the three-letters-per-key was my first cell phone. The battery was easily replaceable, and I was just about to order a new battery when the BlackBerry caught my attention. Please tell us something about Motorola currently. Thank you! AZ
What about Motorola? They made a wide assortment of budget and mid tier phones and are working on a new flagship RAZR 3, which I’m excited about.
Thank you, Mr. TechOdyssey!
Can you please let us know if blackberry classic still will continue working ?
Hey Mr. TechOdyssey thnk you for keeping us imformed on whether the new Blackberry is coming out or not because if it doesn't im stuck with a Blackberry tattoo i had done on my right hand in 2013 i wish there was a way i can show it to you so you can show the people in charge of making the new Blackberry and let them know how loyal i am to the brand ,im using an iphone 8 plus in a meanwhile wich i hate but im still hopping this new Blackberry comes out soon, i thank you again and keep your videos coming theyre very educational
and my Blackberry Key2 back cover starts to lift open now. haaaay 😢
Happy Birthday Adam ! 🥰
I don't think I'll be going back.
good job on the videos! Thanks. I'm a huge Blackberry fan also. The Key2 is the best. It just needs a newer version. Hopefully Onward mobility delivers. Give us a pkb phone with a good camera. It hasn't happened yet but hopefully the next one will do that.
thank you for the news... i am using the priv still
