I just watched it.. It's heartbreaking got teary-eyed here... The emotion and story is so strong and beautiful.. One of the best indeed.. I'd say it has a good ending not just about being sad.. but to discover and accept the truth.. ❤
The way the default question in the comments section of every gay movie/series edit is "does it have a happy/sad ending?" We've really all just come from a place of trauma with these gay movies/shows. It's so tragic my goodness
It does. But I swear, it's all worth it. It shows the reality in the most painful and beautiful way possible. They have a sad ending, yes. But...its the most amazing, beautiful and nerve wrecking movie I've ever watched. Even more good than ' Call me by your name'. Its way much better than that. Also....love isn't love without pain, right?
Well the movie is definitely quite sad but these are actually flashbacks from the character with the glasses. The main plot happens 40 years later and it's about how he reconnects with his past and faces it. And it's absolutely beautiful
