The lie is they brainwash angler’s into thinking they can achieve similar results if they get on this bait or that rig or the newest shelter. Truth is, the product have nothing to do with it.
Anyone has the chance to become a member of this lake. It’s just about getting your name on the waiting list and waiting much the same as any syndicate. Plenty of “mortals” fishing that lake not just sponsored anglers.
People want everything now.
I waited 9 years for a ticket and this year had a nice surprise! Even too angler waited 7-8 years some of the Ridgemonkey etc. just put name down in a few and wait.
I’m as mortal as it gets and my surename don’t help me get in syndicates neither, makes it all more exciting
Probably because most of us mortals do not go to lakes where there are fish over 30 pounds.

How comes you can just decide you want to do an extra night and you can do it? On my syndicate you have to book like 4-6 weeks in advance 😅😢
