Unpopular opinion, I actually think the slower beat fits the song so much better. Although I wish it was still a duo and there wasn’t dialogue in between.
They did sharpay and Ryan dirty!! I hate how they’ve added diologue throughout, as well as extra people singing harmonies!! This is a duet- for sharpay and Ryan- and should only be a duet for sharpay and Ryan, I hope when my school do this they do the movie version, it’s so much better!!
Well true but I think the dialogue is good during the musical interludes and stuff or maybe they should have done bop to the top part 1 and part 2 and dialogue inbetween or something

Well this song isn’t only about sharpay and Ryan, it’s about the idea of how the school wants to be the best. That’s why other people are singing.
it is also the climax of the musical so they cant have only 2 people in it
in this song the science decathalon and the championship basketball game is also happening so that’s why there is added dialogue:)
