Is there a point to buy a natural and organic mattress if I just put this on it? Want to protect against mold

Hi, the formation of mold on your mattress may be a problem with ventilation and humidity. Latex is resistant to mold but cotton is not. Mold will form rapidly, given the right conditions, on a natural latex mattress, because they almost always have a cotton cover.
That being said, a cover like this might help protect against mold, but there are no guarantees. If it is for storage, I suggest packing the mattress in a thick plastic covering that is intended for mattress moving and storage. This covering should be sealed with tape so that no air gets in.
