QUESTION OF THE DAY: With the Bahrain 8h, the FIA WEC championship decider just about to finish, who did you want to win the championship in the Hypercar class?
Really very good, I hope this kind of content continues. Even if I want to have a race replay displayed in the corner of the screen that is synced during the race
I am trying to understand the MGU / ESS thing and managing it in game. Awesome setup BTW. Going to buy LMU when I get home next week and see what the fuss is about. Cheers
Thank you so much, appreciate it! :) Yeah the hybrid system in LMU is very different to anything else we have today but I think it's great. TLDR: the electric motor does not add additional power output like an ERS in F1 does. It's a fuel saving and bop tool essentially. So the more electric power you deploy the less the ICE has to work hence you save a physical fuel. However, because harvesting of energy is done under braking you have to make sure your battery is never at 0% or at 100% because it will compromise your braking performance. There is also a difference between LMDH and LMH cars and how it works there It's hard to explain it over a post and maybe I will do a simple video explaining it but there is a very comprehensive guide by Michi Hoyer where he goes into it with a lot of details :)
MATE COME ON! I dpnt know where to look! i believe i spent more time trying to see where are your screens or what are you using to record or how is possible that your sim rig can look so amazing? this is madness?
great video as always dude! may I ask which camera are you using? I'm using a GoPro Hero 8 which is showing its age and I want to upgrade, but I can't decide between the Osmo 5, Go Pro 13 or Ace Pro 2
i have the same wheel and game but new to LMU. do you have a video talking about what button does what? i see you pressing the buttons on the wheel but, as mentioned im new to LMU, i dont know what you have them mapped to.
Hi, thank you for watching! :) I don't have a video and I have a lot of things mapped, but the things I am adjusting constantly are battery charging and deployment plus the break bias and traction control. I also have things like wipers, lights, flash etc. I might do a short video the next days and will go over the mappings in details :)

Hi mate, nice video as always I just downloaded lmu but i cant figure how to adjust pitch game seems to be pointing upwards. For example in acc/ac pitch i set it to +5 to level road with my eye level.
Thank you mate! :) OK, so if you watch my video with the LMU settings (10min into the video) ua-cam.com/video/TfXdOmpXCVA/v-deo.html You will see which inputs to bind. In the Seat and FOV paragraph there are inputs for Pitch Up/Down. Map both and once in game hold left Shift and use the buttons you mapped for pitch up and down respectively In my video, you can see I have "E" and "Q" so i just use left Shift+E/Q
@ i just watched it mate, thanks was really helpfull. The only part I missed was the pink shape thing on the screen, I can’t get what functions do I use to get to them.
Thank you for watching! :) I like and race both but overall still prefer online. It's just that sometimes online can be frustrating, but on the other hand, that's racing. Next, I have to try Co-op in LMU!
The racing standards in lmu online are awful. People are absolutely insane in to turn 1, there's a big crash every single race in hypercar split 1. Also the way people overtake, is they ram you off track from behind, and take the position. I don't understand why these type of people drive this sim. 8 out of 10 drivers have a brain, and want to enjoy serious competitive racing. But the 20% ruin it for everyone. They should stay in forza or need for speed if they only want to crash instead of racing.
Yes, it's really unfortunate but this is not an LMU only issue to be fair. In fact, I was really impressed with the racing standards in top splits in the Bronze events with the GTE and LMP2s. Even at Monza, there were no issues in T1 which was really surprising. And I am talking 6-7 races not a one off. I was also starting from the back at first but then I saw it's clean so started qualifying and in both cases, lap 1, t1 had no issues. The hypercars however are a different story
@@SimracingGG my experience in lmp2 was polar oposite.😅 it was even worse in lmp2 compared to hypercar. And i was in split 1 90% of my races too. I always started from pits to avoid the massive t1 crash, and almost every single race, i was able to get to the top 10 within the first lap😅. Best example was at le mans, lmp2, split one, start from pits, p4 after first lap. At the end of the race, 12 out of 18 cars had retired.😂 But yes, it's not only lmu issue, i think it'a so bad in this title, because the cars are really really hard to drive, and the tyre model is very punishing.
@@NWA_1919 Ouch! I guess I was just lucky then :D Yes especially on low downforce setups at LeMans the cars are hard and people struggle but I am hopeful for the future especially with dedicated servers coming in the future! :)
@@SimracingGG i love the sim, the tyre model is the best in any sim, the feeling of the cars, weight transfer, braking, ffb, everything is very solid. I really hope there is a bright future for this sim.
@@NWA_1919 100% agree! At the moment, LMU is my favorite sim. The physics, the ffb, the sounds the gfx...I really am enjoying every time I fire it up! The authenticity and driving dynamics is just the best. The cars feel like they have weight. I also hope it gains popularity and becomes as successful as ACC for example!
I bought this game and refunded when I noticed how little content the base game has. The fact that they're already doing DLC turned me off from it. Also, I feel like every pro I watch, keeps sliding off track at some point. Is it because it just IS that hard IRL or is the game being too harsh?
It's the official WEC license so the content is as much as it is in the real WEC. They were saying in the past that maybe historical WEC content will come in the future but who knows. In any case, being the official WEC game they have to stick to the official content. It's the same with the F1 games...they cannot all of a sudden just add Hyper cars :) With regards to the game being difficult, obviously none of us have driven real Hypercars but based on what we have seen irl, even the PRO WEC and IMSA racing drivers are also struggling, especially on cold tires.

Thank you so much! :) Yes such content will definitely continue and I will experiment with more TV Cam type of content as well maybe to mix things up
Great video mate, I guess we have to on some nice organized league races someday to have proper racing 😄🔥
Thank you mate! Yes dedicated servers and leagues will be absolutely amazing! S397 are working on that so we just need to wait until they come :)
