Since grams force is mentioned, this is probably a load cell similar to a scale. So it is not "touch" sensitive but "force" sensitive. No motion is required, though there is some motion bending the arm that the load cell is cemented to, but this is likely much too small to be noticed as a deflection. Interesting design, first I've seen of this approach for paddles. Load cell signals are very small and require a good temperature stable amplifier system which could introduce RF sensitivity, thermal or other issues, so a good design has some challenges but is certainly possible. Thanks for the video!

Not sure a totally touch-sensitive key would suit me, but it looks like an extremely well thought-out and high quality product.

Whats is the principle of operation, if not capacitive electrical coupling?

Pete, did you sell this already? I tried reaching you on the FB CW group and a PM to no avail. De N1XF

I think you short-changed both 9A5N keys AND your audience.
When introducing a Begali key you give dimensions and have pleasant background music, and even go for a QSO at the end!
How come none of that was done in regards to reviewing Neno’s key? 🤨

The 9a5n video was shot before I even considered doing review videos for Begali.
