I’m fairly certain that Sony won’t and haven’t given PS5 themes is because the games have their own themes, background and music, when selected on the Home Screen.
I can have the home music for hours on my home and never gets annoying, I love it so much, I have even listened it high and love that experience, it's so crazy the sound, transports me
Just got my PS5 today! FINALLY! I think I got all these and more tips applied to my console now. It was confusing at first the whole UI but after a few hours of playing around it's actually really nice and oh so buttery smooth unlike my ps4. Happy gaming people
I just found out pressing Triangle brings you over to your profile, and I’ve had the system since day one. I will say I wish they would allow for options on the PS Button. I hate that holding the PS button does what a single press did on the PS4. It still messes with my head every time.

One big thing that you forgot, is if you have a TV that can link to your PS5, you can use your TV remote to scroll The XMB, shop the store, and control any media like UA-cam, Hulu, Disney+, etc. The controller inactive timer is nothing new. It was the same on PS4, so I'd hope most owners were already aware.
The LED in the microphone is nice but they should’ve reversed it. They should’ve made it when the LED turns on the microphone is on and to turn it off the light would go off. I don’t know why they reversed it.
Just got a ps5 5 days ago, digital version, god of war Ragnarok. Have a little buyers remorse for not getting the disc drive ps5 version for $100 more. But I have a blu ray player and I don’t go to the stores I buy everything online. So I thought it would suit me best. But now I’m thinking about the possibility of friends coming over and bringing a game to play but it’s on disc. Or finding a ps5 game at the thrift store for 10$. I’m just happy I got one. Update: it’s awesome. Just ordered the pulse 3d headphones.
Pressing R1 or L1 switches between the games menu and the media menu, instead of having to use the D-Pad to get over. Also to wishlist a game you no longer have to go to it's page, if you just hover over the game in the list, press options, you can add to wishlist there without having to actually go into the page

First off, congrats on netting yourself a PS5! In my opinion, the biggest and best difference between the PS4 and PS5 is the loading times. If you were playing a game where you die a lot, you are no longer needing to wait 20-40 seconds per death. You are back in the game within 10, and often in about 2-3 seconds. On top of that though, the Dualsense controllers are fantastic and really add a new immersive quality to your gaming experience. It really is down to personal opinion when it comes to best game, but out of the PS5 releases, Horizon Forbidden West is a pretty safe bet, and if you are feeling experimental, Returnal! And yes, you can play all your old PS4 games that have been bought off the store! Have fun on your new console! - AB

Get the PS Deals app..... it’s better than the wishlist because it covers sales for every PlayStation console and you can see every time that game has been on sale and for how much. This way you can get an idea of how often that particular game goes on sale, and what the cheapest price it has ever gone for is. Now, I’ve had this app since the PS3 days, and back then I got a lifetime premium membership on sale for $5...... I don’t think they do that anymore, and I’m not sure what functions it gives you access to, but even the base app will give you enough information to help you save tons of cash......
I have a question about PS5. When playing warzone how can I get players voices through my surround speakers. At present players voices only come through on my controller speaker or my headset. Any help appreciated from this 68 yoa gamer.
Bluetooth and wired have the same low latency on ps5. Interestingly bluetooth had alot less lag than wired on ps4 :-O and was actually one of the very fastest on any system availiable :-)

You know what I genuinely hate? Having audio come out of your controller and having no means of changing it. You can change it in game but if the game doesn’t have that setting you’re just screwed.

Call me Old Skool but I don't get giddy and start playing a game on my new console off the bat, sorry Americanism, old habit, as soon as it arrives. I check out the console's features first. Make sure everything is calibrated properly. My Dad taught me that. Maybe your audience should do the same. There again, you wouldn't have an audience would you, Smelly Sock, if they all did that?

The zoom funtion is really handy. Have to turn it on in Accessibility. Then press PlayStation & Square button at same time. Can zoom in up to 3 times.

The PS5 has a usb mode which If I assume correctly based on the Switch should reduce input lag as If It were a wired controller
