I love The Kite Runner too!! I cried too. And ohh god the way you feel after reading the book is beautiful. The only book I would recommend to the non-readers as well!!!!
ahhh!!!!!!! The Kite Runner!! that was the first ever book to make me cry as well and ohh! the way i connect with your feelings for the same! so happy to see it here!!!
My favourite books are 1. The dairy of young girl - Anne Frank 2. Kafka on shore by Harukmi murakami 3. Gently falls the bakula by Sudha Murthy 4. Harry Potter series 5. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch album Also read " Five people you meet in heaven by Mitch album ".... If you like ed Tuesday s with Morrie you will love that as well I'm currently reading Cather in rye ...
Hey !! Agreed! I have read kite runner and thousand splendid suns - the writer does juggle your heart out and so does princess! Btw , I read it in school too! 😁
'To kill a mocking bird' by Harper Lee and 'Metamorphosis' and 'The Trial' by Kafka. And if you can get hold of a good translation of Rabindranath Tagore's 'Golpo-guchho' i.e. collection of short stories then it is a must read.
Somoshree Sanyal metamorphosis was the last book that I read. It was dark but at the end you feel like your soul is just liberated. Kafka is a genius!!! Wanting to know more about trial. is it as good as metamorphosis ??
timing couldnt be more perfect !! i was looking for book recommendations for a friend who is an ardent reader too!!! Thanks VTSS soooooooooooo much !!!!
Big Magic has been on my cart forever but I haven't been able to buy it (but I will) I love Elizabeth Gilbert's work. You need to read Eat, Pray, Love. It's a beautiful read, where this woman finds herself and I've reread it many many times. No wonder you love Big Magic. If you loved Big Magic, you should also check out her TED talk on Creativity. I think you'll love that too. Anyway, read 'To Kill A Mockingbird' by Harper Lee. That's a beautiful classic. I read A Catcher in The Rye, I even gifted it to my best friend but she didn't get it (she just reads chick lit & fifty shades so that was disappointing) but I'm glad someone loved it & raved about it. You should also read The Help by Kathryn Stockett, they made a movie on it starring Emma Stone & the movie is great too but the book is always BETTER! I love content like this, please put up more of it. I think both of you have great taste. ❤️
I knew sapiens would be on your list Vaibhav! It’s one of my favorites too. Home Deus is good too.... oh wow kite runner and thousand splendid suns, love this list already. And catcher in the rye is awesome! I would also recommend vaibhav to read Sidhartha by Herman Hesse, striking thoughts by Bruce lee, the rational optimist by Matt Ridley, surely you’re joking me feynman it’s a biography of one of my favorite physicist Richard Feynman... I can go on and on cuz I’m super excited to discover that you guys have a steep intellectual appetite
I really liked To kill a mockingbird and God of small things.. Thanks for the recommendations you have a whole range of books covered. 😊 oh and I have read Tuesday’s with Morrie it’s a really sweet book!
Lovely, ideal couple. Amazing connection btw you two. The way you talk n understand each other is wonderful. I wish i get a life partner like you. God bless. 😊😊
i have read Princess after watching it in one of your vlogs and i loved it to bits, will read its sequels also. i have also read kite runner and all other by khaleed hosseni, he is one of my fav authors and also curious incident of the dog in night time, i loved how the child with asperges and savant syndrome overcomes so many hurdles.
Hi Vaibhav, I have read most of your suggestions from ur channel and I take ur word super seriously. You have to have to have to read "Men without women" by Murakami as i'm like 25% thru the book and I like it :) Second must read should be something simple but I'm loving it is the Terribly Tiny Tales book... Must read... :) Thank you making a dedicated updated books video with Sherry :)
Also, read "the god of small things" by arundhati roy if you haven't already. It's one of the most beautifully written books ever. Another one is "the namesake" by jhumpa lahiri. And well, there's always Kurt Vonnegut.
Amazing video guys😍 Buying The Big Magic for sure! I would like to recommend "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho, it's very famous and it does take you to the next level, so if possible definitely go for it! Thanks 😇
