Hi Helly, Ideally the white bits in your plant wont be thermocol but it will be a material call Perlite. Even if it is thermocol or perlite, let it be there. This is added to the plant soil to increase the airation for the roots.
Remove that thermocol. It's just for show and your plant don't need that, and this plant need water in every 7days. Do not water it daily and its roots can not survive if the soil is too wet for more than 7 days.

But if u are....i recommend you to read it with a cool nd calm mind...since most of the lines do require a repeat or two before we finally understand that line.
So try it with a slower approach and then maybe u'll love it

Helly where did you buy jabuti's quest books, it is not available in Amazon.
Hi Helly..Those are not thermocol balls but something called perlite...they are mixed with soil of succulents and plants like zz ...they absorb the excess moisture of the soil as these plants require minimum water...

I will inform you. I think The non fictions ones are/ is easy
The thermocols are just ornamentals, for enhancing the looks of the plant. In fact they might affect the growth of plant, as they are made of polymer and are non degradable. My suggestion is to remove them if you can, otherwise it's okay. @Helly
