I only have five Notifications set - this channel is one. I always let the adverts run through for that little bit of ad income. Happy Days and Fortune for you and your family Alex.
So cool to meet the other Alex. He exemplified what we all feel about you ... GREAT RESPECT
Yes, the other Alex was so sweet. We really do all love you and the nice things you show us/sell us/tell us about.
Even this video shows how kind you are. Buying the restored pump I think out of kindness. Take care.
I did not see anything I would not have considered collectible. Very nice find, congratulations.
Wow this guy has quite a cool collection! I could spend hours going through boxes like that! 😊
Your business must be equal parts fun and stress, but you are so lucky to be able to do what you love! It's fascinating to watch--thanks for taking us along!
That dentist drill might be useful for a carver or sculptor. It has its limitations, but medical equipment is usually extremely well made, and its a work of art in its own right.
I guess you can say that the guys place looked like an antique shop with how neat and organized most of the collection was.
I love to see all the railway stuff. My son is obsessed with trains and thw railway. I plan on picking him up some little bits.
Every time Alex brings in his friends.."characters ".. I feel like I'm watching Fargo! Best movie of all time! Much love my fellow Canucks
That was fun.
An organized tidy horder for a change ;) you dont loose valuables that way.
Those are called "collectors" ;)
Nice stuff!
Who has more fun than you? Great days in a row!
No other business came out to see him... It only goes to show how much drive and effort will make the difference in excellence.
Awesome, your a great guy with a lovely family and business. It speaks volumes when you take the time to visit a customer to see what he has. It says a lot about your business ethics.
I have recently stumbled onto your channel and subscribed to it. I sit here and think every time... what a pleasant person you are. So polite, and always a pleasant laugh... I wish the world had more folks like you. A lovely bride and sweet kids. God bless your nice little family.
Another good haul, variety is the spice of life.
I had fun doing a little window shopping. Thanks for the video.
You should go back and dig some more. Lots of neat stuff there!
Look at all the loot! Jefferson Airplane! Hendrix! Now you know my era! ha You're going to have to get a rental unit if you go back there for the cars, Alex.
Take Care and feel better 🙏🏽
That beautiful pump you bought would look very nice in the kitchen you are redoing.
Love the railway linens and keys, well all the railway stuff!
The "look how big his woody is" went over this guys head but it was hysterical!!!
Alex have the best job ever; being invited to peoples homes and allowed to go through old family stuff. The hunter & gather-gene in my lizzard brain is unraveled as I watch this.
This is so relaxing to watch. I love this channel
thanks for watching Louise!
Me too! It’s my favorite way to unwind!
Its so cool to see the stuff you save
This is awesome. I just found your videos about Mary's house today and had to marathon watch every one of them. You guys are really cool. My 10 year old son and I enjoyed watching them. Thank you for posting them.
The episodes really are :)
I love how kind you are !!! seriously . You are so respectful of everyone your purchase from. You make sure that anything that is of personal value, importance, sentimental .. gets back to the owner. You make sure you make a fair deal.. ALex.. YOU ROCK.
This man is awesome. He for sure has OCD. The way everything is labelled and written in that book. Thats alot better then things just everywhere. He makes it easy.
Great video, thanks so much for sharing!
This is one of my favorite channels. I hope you are feeling better.
That was an amazing selection of bands you got with all that vinyl. Feels like we get to go on treasure hunts with you in your videos.
The diecast I'm into are mostly matchbox and some Hot Wheels, but I want them old, with bad paint, stepped on, whatever poor condition. I enjoy restoring them, the ones that are not rare go to neighborhood kids... I might sell some, but mostly they go to the local kids anonymously.
I'm impressed with the neatness of this collection!!
Always enjoy your videos! He had a great collection.
What a collection! i’ll take it all!
Great video thank you
My god that looks like my record collection I had in the 70's going of to college. lol
I would love to hear more on the story of black sabbath staying at your dads house!!
That's probably best left for a more adult channel 😱🤣👍
Me too
shokid Yeah, me too. Love Ozzy.
My best friend from school has pictures of her family and Ozzy with his kids. They used to babysit them.
I already hear Ozzy screaming "Shaaaaaaroooooon!"
If I ever find myself in Canada, you can be darn sure I'll be visiting your store! I love the videos you make and the adventures you and your family are having running said store. :) Stay amazing and awesome!
Thanks for today's adventure. I like your channel better than anything I see on T.V. You are doing a great job as usual. God Bless.
Frank Zapper is funny. Very collectable
I can't get used to the new intro. lol The old one still goes through my mind ;)
I'm shocked that you were the only antique shop that visited the seller's house. I bet your chuffed that you got some brilliant finds that the other businesses missed out on. Good service ges a long way! :)
It was worth the trip! :)
Absolutely love the pump! He really did fix that up nicely
Such a breath of fresh air to see this content!
You can tell how much this means to you
Alex,
That was really fun, thanks for the heads up on the live broadcast.
I can't believe how many people were watching, but that's terrific and you got a few more bucks toward the house..
Can't wait to see what happens over the next two or three weeks.
Cheers,
Rik Spector
I hope you feel better soon! Love your channel!
i only just started watching your channel and love how positive and excited you are about vintage/collectibles! i wish i could visit the shop (Boston native) cause everything is so cool!
I think the "giant Woody" joke went over his head. LOL
LOL, I laughed so hard when said that 😂
Hahahaha! Oh, Alex’s corny jokes..
Maybe he didn't care to acknowledge the remark. Who knows?
He didn't seem like the joking kind of fellow. It can get really awkward in situations like that lol.
@@heartlandranchtv4943 that was my take too. I always joke around with doctors and don't care for the ones who can't take it
You find the coolest stuff. And you get to spend time with your family. I admire you. Thanks for the content.
I appreciate you watching!
I just love your videos an your adventures. Amazing what you can find about sale. Keep the videos coming. My son is going to Canada from Pittsburgh (the burg) to see his girlfriend. ♥️
whoo whoo love that CN stuff. Lot's of people do too.
Thank you for loving people. You are a jewel!
Feel better!
Alex, you have a great eye for things. Very nice items to add to the shop. Keep up all the great work that you are doing. May God continue to bless you and your family.
How many of us said out loud GET THE GLASS DOOR KNOBS FOR THE POTTER'S HOUSE!! Okay, maybe just me? LOL And that green restored water pump would look good in the yard! There are thousands of us out here living vicariously through your videos, as if we were with you, filled with anticipation to see inside each box you open. Thank you so much for taking us along!
PennJessNoke You werent the only one on the glass knobs!
Oh my gosh when he was trying to be polite saying ‘that’s a fancy looking sock’ adorable
you make my day!
The Zombies!!!! They came to the Teen Club I worked at in 1966!!! Still have their Autographs!!! How much??? My albums all got destroyed by two younger brothers !!!
So much stuff and so organized, for once!
I caught the end of your live show and had to re-watch, but couldn't find a place to post a comment, so this comment pertains to that live episode from tonight. We love your show and your store and wish we were close enough to drop by. But it would probably take two weeks to drive there. I would love to see Canada again. You are such a great bunch of people accomplishing wonderful things! Thank God for Canadians! My dad (a Canadian) and I enjoyed watching Kung Fu in the early 70s (thanks for the memory). I also adore Bruce Lee, Craftsman style, and Frank Lloyd Wright and now I am even more excited to see how the Potter’s house turns out. I was so glad you stripped that paint off those beautiful door frames. Chewy is adorable! On this show, that was a talented collector you met up with. Enjoyed the visit. Thanks for sharing everything with all of us. Y'all are so much better than T.V.!!!!!!!
Cool finds!
I was watching this vid, then you posted live so I had to pause to go watch that and come back to finish this!..lol
Always a joy to watch you Alex!
Thanks for watching both Rachel :)
You picked up some nice vinyl. Looks like they're in good condition, too.
You n your family are just awsome god bless you all
I was most excited by the linens.
Just fabulous! I loved looking through those boxes! I’m from Oklahoma, but I’d love to visit your shop; although, not in the winter!
those albums are amazing!! great find
They still make the auto coffee maker with bluetooth ,you can make it before you get in your car in the morning.
Aaron Keehn Oy! I want one!!! ☺️
The auto coffee makers were popular in the 60's/70's as more people had cars and traveled but there were not the food/drinks stops there are today. As a child in the 70's in Australia we used to travel twice a yr, about 400km one trip and about 2000kms the other (return) and mum and dad would bring cordial for us kids and make coffee for them with an auto coffee maker in between stops.
Oooh I'd love to go through all this stuff!
I'd end up leaving broke.
GREAT VIDEO GOOD EYE AND YOUR PIC 👍🏻
Very nice variety! Good finds. Hope you feel better soon.
Love this channel. I was actually at an auction at our Thrift Store for charity. I bid on some beautiful 10K gold cameo earings and necklace. Someone stopped bidding me up at 52$. I was not letting it go. LOL then the last one had me gob stopped. I got 2 charms that were 10K and one is a curved horn. I paid 15$ for both. Both worth way more. People just don't know what is in front of them. LOL
Love how that guy takes great care in packing and preserving all that stuff...
First: your insanely good content and amazing historical walks...then, the comments afterward. The best!
2 in one night , nice....Great shows...feel better...😷
I hope you go back to that guys place soon I bet he going to be pulling out some real cool stuff for you. : ) peace
THANKS LOVELY GUY, I SO ENJOY UR TRIPS AND PURCHASES, THIS HAS BEEN AWESOME AGAIN.
BUT HEY....YOU LOOK AFTER YOURSELF. DOSE UP, KEEP WARM YOUR NUMBER 1, FOR FAMILY AND YOUR SHOP.
YOUR OLDE AUSSIE GRANNY 😁 CAMILLE 💜
I really like old Fountain pens/pencils & old wood & very early table top radios.
Thank you for sharing.
Enjoyed watching and thank you for sharing. Congratulations on your purchases and best of luck for quick profitable sales of the items. Fingers crossed on the car purchases. See you on your next video.
Thanks again Alex. If I lived closer, I'm in Texas, I'd come shake your hand too.
Your such a great guy. You treat everything with such respect.
Cool finds.. Those old signs that were porcelain instead of paint, are the most collectible type. I hope the deal on the cars works out for you.
Bring on the oddities!
Get well soon!
Always love it when you speak German
- A native German binge watcher from NYC
That railway ticket puncher looked a lot like an antique saw blade setter for adjusting the angles of the teeth on a saw blade. Great channel. I'm still working on getting through all your past episodes.
True Canadian wearing Vans in the winter lol - we are a tough breed. Love your channel!
meezergurl The vanity of men! 😆
@@mizzhops both men and women in canada do this not just men that's why i left my comment as i do the same thing.
meezergurl Oups! Sorry! I see people wearing Vans in the wintertime here in Sweden too. But women usually wear the sturdier type, with a thicker shoe sole. Which makes more sense here, since we - except for way up north- don’t have that dry and really cold inland climate that you have in Canada. But you are clearly the true Vikings! 😆
Love your videos. Makes me feel so calm watching you go thru stuff. Very interesting. Your successful cause you really know your stuff.
I'm still learning every day :)
That must be whyvI spend so much time watching
Alex zicam is the best if you have a cold. Thank you for a great vid. You are very personable.
That German helmet was the coolest thing ever!
Nope. And it should be destroyed. The horrors it represents is shameful.
Unbelievable how organized and well packed everything is...
I loved everything he had!!
This guy is an organized hoarder, he saved everything!
I absolutely love watching your channel. I learn so much..thank you
I can't believe how organized that fellow's garage is!
I had no idea you were in edmonton! I’ll have to think of a reason to go back now, maybe visit some family so I can go see your shop! Lol
I died over the giant Woody joke! The old guy just let it pass! Sooooo funny!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Holy hell! This guy had everything ever made in the history of mankind!
I feel like if you had a web site where people could buy what they saw on your show you’d be out of your clothing in a flash. And you wouldn’t have to deal with people individually. I think your going to blow up on you tube soon and might need a system a part time high school student could run.
I would buy so much clothing off a website from that house right now in a flash. I am driving cross country in June (going to Calgary) but making a stop in Edmonton to stop in the Store to shop :D
upload it on facebook in an album and let people at it. So many people buy and sell that way. :)
I’d buy one of the dresses I saw! It was so pretty, and I’m not typically into vintage clothing.
Another fabulous addition to your collecting adventures! Thanks again for the great visit and fabulous CNR treasure!
