During our conversation she discussed entering her rap career full time, being from the Southside of Chicago, being a tomboy growing up, getting into a lot of fights when she was younger, losing her dad, her first job, being put in alternative school, boosting, making a transition to move to Atlanta, witnessing her brother King Von’s come up, reveals what Chicago teaches you as a woman, addressing a rumor involving Von, witnessing the drill era as a woman, being the mutual friend with the different hoods, avoiding drama nowadays and focusing on his music career, eventually wanting to go back and speak to the youth, her strong dynamic with Von, finding out about the shooting and Von’s passing, how her grieving process has been, what life would be like if Von was still around, her single and visual “Not From 63rd”, her single “No Talkin”, her upcoming single “Phony”, focusing on singles only right now and much more!

Kayla saying Von was calling ppl letting them know he was good was the first time i've heard that.Damn, that would have lead me to believe he was going to pull through.So sad. Sometimes ppl need to hear kind and motivating words, and I can tell Kayla B wasn't expecting the interviewer to tell her she was doing good and on her way .

I heard on the ride to the hospital he was talking and saying he’s gonna be good and tellin the guys to calm down. That might be what she’s talking about cuz he apparently got rushed into surgery and died during that.
