You say it, very nice Factory Presets. I personaly use him for additional Drums and Soundeffects in Live-Tracks, because handling is very great. Othertimes i use him as an sequencer for other Synthesizers because i most time don't use computer. I don't do with this Box Dance-Tracks, there are so much possibilities to work with as an great tool :)
Wolfgang Schmid I own the RM1X and Roland MC50 Mk2, the RM1X seems to work a lot better for me as far as doing neat tricks during replay. I would like touch sensitive pads and a xox grid the size of the box too. =)
I own a MC303, the RM1x, and RS7000. the MC303 I use for sick soundscapes, not as Drummachine. The RM1x most as Ambient-Pad and Percussion (e.g. Bongos) beside other Syths in Live. RS7000 in some Kind for really full perform.
I bought a RS7000 back when it 1st came out, used that thing forever, but sold it and a bunch of other grooveboxes & synths a few years back trying to consolidate to a DAW & midi keyboard. Now I kind of regret getting rid of certain pieces. I can't seem to match certain sounds/genres ( late 90s early 00s dnb, jungle, ps1 street fighter 3 type sounds). So now I'm on interwebs trying to track down gear to get that. Think I'm a buy a used RM1X & a MicroKorg S
I've just got a rm1x for £50 but the screen is kaput....everything else is good ....screens are rare as rocking horse shit unless you go for digital at 130 a pop. Just found one for £40 after months of hunting all over Europe. .brill machine is rm1x
some really good patterns. i always had an interest in the Rm1x
