I think his best solos at this show were Everytime I die and Hate Me!. Freakin sick stuff! I've watched this whole Tuska concert straight through so many times with my friend back in high school =p
Bodom really needs to get back on their roots this is the bodom i love . They suck now. Even live, their sound engineer fucks their mixing these days. Poor sound quality
Taneli Takala Yeah Laiho is one of the few modern guitarists that i can enjoy. His playing has oopmh while still achieving a decent level of skill. That rare cool zone where you aren't a boring basic old school player nor a soulless technique monger.
He`s not god. Thought, Aleksi were way better guitarist in the past and before this show. I think it was the arm- injuries that did the thing. B-T Pitty. Hatebreeder, Follow the reaper and Tokyo warhearts had most promising playing of his cureer. He`s not bad player, but best times seen guitarist.
Hey dude it's not about the speed.. god damn it! -_- I agree Bodom's best albums are from those times you are saying but I also bet Laiho's technique and knowledge of music and playing guitar is way more high nowadays than in the past. Think about all that stuff he has written in ten years. Now when I'm older I admit that Laiho is not a god, but to me he is, however, one of the oldest source of inspiration!
Actually, Aleksi´s right hand technique has considerably worsened since 2008. He´s broken his right hand´s wrist i think 2 times and also his right arm once and ever since then he hasn´t been able to alternate pick at speeds he could easily achieve in the late 90s and early 2000s. However, it is true that his writing has gotten better and now he incorporates more techniques into his playing. For example, instead of alternate picking a super fast run, he uses a tapping legato technique which gives the sound a smoother, yet less aggressive flavor.
The original Wildchild. RIP my biggest influence!
0:36 Sixpounder

Damn, Hatebreeder is an amazing album.
2003 was his prime
Is that a Jackson I see for Sixpounder?! Hahaha love it :P
Yes, that's a Jackson guitar!
R.I.P ALEXI!!!!!
Dude that was fucking clean and u added some notes to it, but why only 3k views? I guess people don't know to appreciate a talent like yours.
The one and only \m/
I love you 🖤😔💔
Good times! 😌
Nana tremendoo
whats the solo at 2:44 ?
songs name is Children of Bodom from the Hatebreeder-album
Bravissimo eh per carità....ma Randy Rhoads che era Randy Rhoads se la tirava molto meno

Agree but now rip Alexi
Are you fucking kidding me? , Hexed is a nice album. They ended their career on a high spot.
I personally think, John Petrucci is better, close tie tho
Completely different playing styles, I couldnt really compare them
I liked Petrucci when I was 11y/o or something. He's more like machine than human. There is so much more soul what Alexi does here.

Joel Santiago better maybe technically, but Alexis is a way better composer
