Probably the best of the wave. He actually. The sculpt is actually show accurate, unlike the other figures. Was going to skip the Super 7 MMPR line, but I'll definitely be getting Goldar.
This is the reason why they hold their models in standing pose during cons and video promos. Cause they know their figures have no articulation.
I really think that Super7 figs are designed to stay inside their boxes smh. They put more effort in making the box pretty than they do making the figs move.

Man the Super7 Goldar looks like a work of art. I remember being pretty dissapointed with the LC version, had so many joints but the articulation didn't work right, and the lack of paint made it feel very cheap.
I can see a lot of people getting this Goldar to scale better with their lightning collection monsters.
This is the one I ordered to go with my lightning collection. I wanted a bigger monster than what they gave us
Except he's too big to scale with the rangers.
This is nice. It's like if the Bandai one from the 90's had articulation.
This is one of the best looking Goldars I’ve seen. This is a definite to get. Great accessories. I actually like my monsters to be larger than my rangers, it feels more menacing to me
Truly the ultimate Goldar. I don’t really mind the somewhat limited articulation since I don’t pose the figure in crazy poses (unless it’s a character like Spider Man). Sometimes, companies try to add a lot of articulation on a figure and it ends up messing with the aesthetics and sculpt
I'm going to stick to my L.C version because I prefer to have it in scale with the rangers, but I pre ordered the Super 7 King Sphinx to replace the L.C version. If they're going to be around the same size, then might as well get the better-looking one
I'm actually going to swap out my LC Goldar for this one I think. I like him being in scale with the other monsters better.
I agree but now he's giant compared to the rangers. I don't mind the monster figures but they really should have been smaller.

Just when I tell myself to not buy anymore figures super7 had to come around and do the 7” mighty morphin rangers. Damnit
Great review! Thanks for the comparison to Lightning Collection. Love the gold armor and the face color is a lot better. Awesome accessories, too! But, my Rangers are Figuarts, so this one is WAY too big for me.

This is one to get, Goldar stayed getting his size increased in the show, so him being larger is fine by me. I'm a stickler for scale but can't comprehend why the Hasbro monsters get so much flax for being bigger.
I don't mind the monster figures size either but people don't like that they tower over the rangers cause they aren't ment to. Also the monster figures next to the non monster figures like Lord Zedd and Goldar doesn't look right.
I wonder if these will be available to buy in stores

How does he look compared to the megazord, I was thinking of using this one as the blown up version that fights the megazord but that loose sword is super disappointing
All megazords are taller
What do I do if the wing broke off with piece stuck in back? Can anything be done to get it out?

Maybe the basic cheap Hasbro megazord
goldar will still look small next to the zap megazord . the zap megazord is around 12inches in comparison 7 inch goldar.
The paint apps are nice, but he's too tall, and of course, he lacks the articulation Hasbro's has.
Way better looking then the lc
And way more show accurate regardless of his size the lc look like a basic figure
Still in this l8ne for the monsters and zords. Goldar being the size of the LC monsters means the LC monsters will be in scale with the super7 megazord.
Wings look great but they are way too cumbersome for figures without flight stands at least. Hasbro, Neca, Mcfarlane........wings just don't work on simple hinges.
In the show Goldar is a tad shorter than King Sphinx. So I wonder if Super's take will be taller. Ranger wise?
Goldar was Tommy's height. His helmet/ears were what made him taller. Tommy's eyes were in line with Goldars.
Goldar isn't short but he tends to stand next to shorter henchmen(and Rita/Zedd) so you think he's this really tall guy due to how massive he is. But no he doesn't tower over the rangers at all.
So either the rangers are too short or he is too tall.
The figure still looks great. I felt the monsters would be more impressive in this line then the rangers. Frankly most rangers don't have really unique looking suits. Which Is why I think the latest sentai have been exploring armors more and more.
thanks for the review . goldar looks great but its lacks on posing specially if i want a create a fight scene with my mini pla megazords . it sucks goldar can hold his sword .
Man the Super7s rangers look so bad but goldar looks so good. But of course he isn't in scale for said rangers or there LC versions. Still gonna be a skip for me.
Really like the detail and colors on this. I’m really excited to get mine and very relieved to see a positive review. Don’t mind the lacking articulation at all since like you said he couldn’t exactly move much in the show. My girlfriend only saw him move on screen once and when I showed her my pre order she just knew him as “stiff monkey”

What really sucks is that goldar will be in scale with Lord Zedd but not Rita. Finster will be about the same height as Rita. She will look horrible next to them.
I don't understand what makes everyone think that the monsters need to be towering over the rangers. Goldar/Grifforzer was a guy in a suit - nearly the same height as the rangers. With all his detailing, the Super7 Goldar looks beautiful as a stand alone figure, but looks absurd next to the S7 rangers - especially the yellow ranger. The scale looks like two different lines. Even worse next to Lightning Collection. It really makes me question getting into this line, which I was hoping would be somewhat compatible with Lightning Collection, at least with respect to accessories. Looking forward to seeing how they scale with other S7 Ultimates (MOTU, Thundercats, Toxic Crusaders, GI Joe).

I'm glad these are getting early looks. It's embarrassing to think they're proud of these God awful pieces of trash they must think its gonna benefit them by getting reviews out. I hope this company goes under soon
