One of the greatest folk musician of our time, and beyond. Incredible, original and amazing guitar player. BTW Amazing musicians with Kristian, I loved the arrangements and the dinamic
Saw him and the band in Los Angeles and I'd never heard of him before. He was amazing! Had the audience in the palm of his hand.I'm now a huge fan and look forward to seeing him perform again.
Since 2012, this man has been my hero and inspiration. I’m privileged to have met him several times in person and having seen him grow and evolve as an artist and human being. He definitely deserves every bit of recognition. 😌
Tallest man on earth has kinda silently been a huge (lol) figure in my music rotation since high school. As I’ve gotten older I’ve just realized how consistently great this guy is. I hope he gets his flowers often.
I remember a few months ago all his instruments were stolen on tour, the day before a concert. He reached out on instagram to people within the area, stating which instruments he needed to perform that night. He and the band played the show that night on borrowed instruments. Truly wholesome
@@mrcoatsworth429the king of Spain / love is all performance on Jools floored me watching it live back in 2010. Loved him since and seen him a dozen times!
Really enjoying this music a lot. I told OpenAI that I really like Gregory Alan Isakov, and wanted something just as deep and meaningful, but also more upbeat (without losing depth, and without sounding too anthemic). This is who they told me to listen to, and I have to say that AI was right, despite my fear of it.
I didn't know he skated, that's really cool. I used to love skating and it was my creative outlet and usually helped me destress. Being in my mid 30s now with a left knee that hates me and other issues like a bac back and depression have made me fall out of love with skating and life in general. This was a beautiful session.
Henry St. is such a vulnerable song, like a cryout of never really finding peace and a place where you feel at home. I can feel it, but how he puts it into words and notes is just amazing.
God, I'm always his fan. Always and always. I simply adore every little song he does. There are few artists who I can say touch my heart so deep as him.
Been following Kristians journey since 2007/2008. In the beginning actually stumbled over his band Montezumas. Stuck ever since...! on a weekly basis listning to some of his songs. For a period like 2012-2016 it was nothing else coming out of the speakers in my apartament. : p Guitar geniuz? yes indeed..! But it's his lyrics that's truly AMAZING!! Learned to play guitar to his bits. Must have wrecked down atleast 7-8.000 hours to learn his song, probably more. Great pleasure and fun! Also fun to play and sing for friends and family at parties, weddings etc. Can't wait to see you again Kristian later this year in Gävle together with an symphonic orchestra. ❤ And plz come again to Näckenbäcken - your performance peaks with no more than 100people in the crowd. All the best och glad midsommar när den väl kommer. Du får gärna spela Idas Sommarvisa igen någon gång framöver : ) ❤ Vad sägs om att göra en skiva med svenska visor? Det skulle vara något som hand i handske för dig! Mvh//Rickard
Loving the full band sound. The Tallest Man on Earth's music transports you to another place with his sophisticated craftsmanship and electric stage presence. An amazing set.
used to listen to this guy when i was 15. a decade has gone by and ive been on so many lanes and avenues of different sounds and genres since then. so to come back full circle and see hes still at it is pretty cool. foothills was my favorite
I used to always listen to the track "bluebird,." is that what it is called? Anyway, it was a song offered free years ago with an Urban Outfitters playlist and the song was one of my favorites of all the songs offered.
Yan is an incredible talent. I witnessed him smash a cymbal so hard it came off the kit and rolled across the stage while performing with Anjimile in December 🤣
Never mind the singer, but can we yet again appreciate the KEXP sound engineers? I often listen here to artists that aren't my cup of tea but their recording is fantastic.

During covid I was lucky enough to be one of 50 in attendance to watch him play in a small barn in the northern part of Sweden. Moment of a lifetime!

So nice to hear this guys voice again. It's been years, but now I'm back into his embracing arms.
I've always loved this guy's voice
He’s amazing. Some of his songs give me a similar vibe to that when I listen to Tom Waits Closing Time.

Lucky to have found his music early on. What a unique and interesting musician and person. Thanks for the upload.
If it’s Cheryl, you know you’ll love the band she always hosts the best. Great as always from Kristian and the band. T.T.M.O.E ❤

I can´t wait to travel to see you. I listened to you, since 2017, you are my favourite musician. Thanks for all Kristian!
Wow can't believe I stumbled into this barely one day after being posted. Awesome album!
Cool to see him back on KEXP. He's always been great and he just keeps getting better, on multiple instruments.
Going to see him in Amsterdam tomorrow, excited is an understatement
It’s wild that he turned out to be a violent pedophile with crimes stretching back decades. Allegedly.
So glad to see him on KEXP. Thank you for this treasure!
