Ah yes, my favorite UC suit ever. One that I like even more than SOREDEMO. Kamille's melee in MBON is actually not as good as it is in EXVS2/GVS but still effective. Also, nothing is more fun than pulling a surprise Waverider Crash or Mega Launcher Saber on fools. With or without RAGE MODE.
So the reality is....zeta is a super mobile armory of endless barrage of things he can do. Welp, I'm never understimating an experienced zeta online again.
The one thing I liked about the Zeta Gundam while watching both Z and ZZ is just how "normal" it is. The only gimmick this thing has is its waverider transformation, even then a lot of Titans ms at the time had transformations long before the Zeta was created. It truly focused on just being a high performance suit fielded with the stronger weapons from that era. It also helps keep the stakes high when you know the main character isn't using an invincible war machine. The Zeta got jumped all throughout Zeta and ZZ. That being said though, I never really liked using this suit in the newer vs. games. In the earlier vs games it was one of the better suits (Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam/Titans vs. AEUG). But I've always preferred either the og grandpa or the mk.II. I was never really that good at using the MA mode.
you almost never used his waverider mode. Zeta seems ot be one of those suits that is easy to pickup and play with but takes quite a while to master. between Z and Excellia, who would you reccomend to someone who roughly knows the basics but hasn't played since console Full Boost?
Well there's no point using the MA mode for the sake of using it. I think Excellia is easier to pick up but also doesn't really teach much or offer tech to learn while Zeta has way more stuff to play with and learn.
oh fuck that song in the last match is so familliar now its going to bother me forever btw i do play Zeta a fair amount, while it does have good tracking anyways, when would you say is a good place or time to slash assist

You can be a basic Zeta (main x3 > sub) spam until you're more comfortable with cancel and big brain play with CSA etc.

Cool tip for zeta, you can actually use AB when in MA mode when there is no boost left to keep moving

You can win with this suit with just only a main and don't forget pew pew pew sound effect at every main shot.
Seems like Ramming Speed is the ultimate attack of Zeta

Zeta's MA isn't as important compared to other MA suits but it's nice to have for the added mobility.

Can I just say, without a losing match it's hard to understand the downsides of all suits.
A reminder that the only proper way to play zeta is to press bc three times, any other way in playing it is simply wrong and will not be accepted.
