@@ZeMonkeman-8 is already good and Pikachu combos well with most of the defenders. I'm a little bit more conservative with the defenders. So please don't nerf Umbreon without adjusting it's other moves.

Yeah it was clearly just a team and matchmaking diff. Run umbreon 100 times in solo que like this and guarantee you lose more than 50% of those games

mon, but I do believe Umbreon is strong bc other teammates coordinate well and support each other. It doesnt deal huge damage like Miraidon, Buzzwole or even 8 spears from hell like Glaceon (i love that thing) lol. So to say its broken, you should also nerf Blastoise

A point-and-click move that has infinite range and the + version does extra damage based on max hp...yup seemed like that build needed a buff lol. Oh Timi why did you buff shard? Spear's damage needs to scale down the longer it travels to the point of it just melting after a certain distance. It is VERY stupid how strong it is at infinite range so long as you got targeted with it.
And Mean Look having like no counter play is equally as egregious tbh. I run Mean Look and Wish on Umbreon and is always such a nasty combo.

@@MHzappy As long as Glaceon can target you, no matter how many dashes you do away from them all the spears will track you until they land. Even if you're at the tip of its range when they start, they will follow you, even if you double dash and eject button in the opposite direction. I've been killed halfway across the entire map, plenty of times before.

This is an umbreon video but it reallt highlights how broken multiple mons are rn. Miraidon got over 100k dmg even with glaceon getting nearly 200k...

I’ve been running Mean Look since Day 1 and always found it stupid that Eject Button doesn’t work inside it.
The move itself has actually 0 counterplay, and I believe the duration and cooldown of it should be reduced slightly.
The only counterplay is shedinja doll, but even that seems over the top to be used
Zoroark Illusion, Full Heal, Eevee Passives but sure it has no counterplay

Even with full heal, you have to perfectly time it, whereas with mean look, you just click an enemy and they’re trapped.

I feel like a great nerf for Glaceon that still keeps them feeling powerful but reduces a lot of frustration is to just drastically reduce their movespeed during icicle spear.
Still does a lot of damage, still a good long range tool, still tracks your opponents. But now you can’t run away while using it.
No idea what to do for Umbreon tho, I feel like all of its moves are good cool additions to the game (in theory).
Best option is probably to nerf damage. Umbreon’s weak as hell in the main games, I feel like they shouldn’t be stronger than Crustle Mamo and Tree.
They should be more of a support defender, which their moveset already promotes.
The way I see it, Mean Look needs to be nerfed in two ways: Cooldown needs to be increased so the uptime on it is less than 50% and it needs to break on unstoppable. I know that you can ignore Mean Look if you become unstoppable while the projectile is still in flight, but that should be extended to Mean Look breaks anytime you become unstoppable

No, please buff full heal so it can negate mean look entirely, and nerf umbreons mean look to 12-14 seconds and don't change its other stats
I was playing miraidon yesterday and i found it's so easy to avoid it's attack and kill him.If you want to troll miraidon just go with speedester like leafeon, Meowscarda and absol.I don't know but i found that my miraidon damage is decreased recently please can someone please confirm.

I wonder why I don't wanna use Mean Look because of how absurd it is. It's seen in Tournaments consistently and coordinated teams in Ranked, the most hated move alongside Icicle Spear.

QOTD: TTar still not being any use until lvl 9 kinda feels insane, especially with the heavy Eevee focused meta and now seeing Gyarados, made on the same concept but STILL able to perform as soon as lvl 4-5. Its end game is incredible but sometime you just get so far behind before getting there, no other pkmn feels like it rn

X speed is good because they trashed eject button’s cooldown. Seriously, 75 secs in a 10 minute match is too depressing

Umbreon isn’t a problem. Always gets KOed. Blastosie is the problem. He got like infinite stun.

The thing with Mean Look is, that is great if your team follow on that. What's the point when you trap enemy, when your fricking Deciduey come to them either way (to shoot point blank) and die.
If they want to nerf ML they need to buff teammates.
I hope when the eventual mean look nerfs come, it doesn’t affect Umbreon’s foul play snarl set

Not having a Slick Spoon makes you do crazy things. I looked him up on unite api and he doesn’t have spoon on any of his Sp. Attackers. 😅

I always get excited just imagining how Flareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon would add to the cohesive structure 😊❤

And I see Vaporeon probably being our first (hopefully not only) Supporter for this year
Eevees evolving and getting upgraded moves at 4 is kinda crazy. On top of this, them getting fast, unstoppable, high utility unite moves at 8 is criminal. These Pokemon have insane tempo and match or outclass a large amount of the cast in their respective roles, while spiking much earlier.
They need to have their unite availability moved back to 9 to be in-line with the rest of the cast, or have their raw stats adjusted to be substantially lower (like a level lower) than their slower competition as they reach max level. Or, god forbid, removing the unstoppable buffs from the majority of their near-instant, AOE damage dealing unites. They hit harder sooner, and get so much value off of their easy to use unites.
Currently there is no downside to choosing an eevee or other fast evolving pokemon versus a never-evolving or slower evolving pokemon, and that feels really bad.
If umbreon is getting nerf for reduce mean look effect then might as well buff foul play because I love foul play so much that when it was nerfed I feel like it doesn’t even do enough damage even on the second hit and the target has higher attack it still won’t make a difference
meanwhile I get out-damaged in charizard unite mode itself by enemy pokemon. People should be running away from me when I unite, not face tank me. Man we need buffs, I can't remember the last time this pokemon was meta
Charizard is a poorly designed character and is not fun to play with or against, and the game would be really unhealthy if this bulky, auto-aoe-attacking, terrain ignoring, relatively fast, debuff applying, unhinderable dude that has a super long, reasonably high damaging disable was able to duel really well with the rest of the cast

Personally, I do a best of 3 of Mancala with the Kodiak bear and we settle dominance that way.
I really dont want defenders to be nerfed. What i want is buffs. Buffs to Tsareena, Mime, Mamo, Lapras, and change TTar's leveling.

Yes ambreon is one if not the best def and support tank, but with our a proper team its really frustrating to use it😢
I’m a Mean Look/Snarl main. I love using Umbreon especially with ultra tank build. That’s all I’ve played this season. 😎
i swerve i did 101 k damage on this build with 170k healing and 120k damage tanked cause my teammates were grieving and enemy team had 3 ex mons , so for sure this needs a nerf

Any options that can use on umbreon instead of exp share it just never works for me
Exp share is a must unless you run foul play. If you run foul play attack weight works best for that and probably band/guard/cookie for the second/third
the build jake is using i. this vid is more of a support/ true tank build, which is what i usually run if i have a team and sometimes a hypercarry in solo queue, u could also run something like attack weight, razor claw, focus band, cursed bangle but i really feel like exp share is amazing in most situations, and it gives umbreon (a slow mon) a good speed boost
I have a solution for make mean look
Make it so you need cast mean look like thunder
After you cast the mean look it will be activated after 1s (you could make it lower or higher)
And everyone in the circle would be trapped in it
also make duration of mean look 3.5s higher and make cool down 5s longer
This will make it so anyone trapped in there will be doomed and if you miss the mean look its gonna go into a long cooldown and give counter play against umbreon

I like Umbreon but never play it. I get its OP but I just find the moves a bit boring. It’s just ‘run at the enemy or slap with your paw’ just wish it was a bit more interesting.
Look at your squad comp. One of the best all rounders, two of the most broken attackers, one of the best supports, and a good defender. You would have used crustle or any defender and it still would have looked “broken” it has nothing to do with Umbreon

Balance changes to a9 on frost area is least talked about. It lasts for 4 seconds, it can easily get a nerf of 1 sec or more, maybe even slight damage nerf.
Coming to umbreon, mean look needs reduction in duration of region by 0.5 - 1 sec, cd should increase by 2 sec, enemy who was mean looked should be able to cleanse it with unite move and mean look should not be applied to unite move. Seriously? a unite move which is the most valued move in a game getting interrupted by normal move with a cooldown of 8 secs. And for some reason few people are defending this?

Umbreon is our only hope against the EX monsters, save it! - Really though, this might be one of the best comps possible, and that certainly made everything look that much worse. Elde + Umbreon makes Glaceon EX levels of broken.
More like speedster, but they’re getting shut downed by mean look. Having an meanlook umbre in the enemy team paired with mewtwo y or miraidon ain’t fun.
Miraidon ult and charge beam say otherwise.
To answer the mid-way question, I think not being able to Eject during Gyarados' Unite is criminal.
But you can do it at the end. You spam eject as you're coming up and it works all the same.

@@Laihoard1995 That's a fair argument. It is somewhat clunky. You should be able to use it during. But there is at least somewhat of a solution to the positioning. It takes practice, but it is possible to eject as you're coming out to catch those that are running away.

Lol! By looking at umbreon+glacion+miraidon. I don't even have to see the enemy team comp to say your win rate even before going into the match (considering no umbreon on enemy side) is above 60%. Even with the healer let's say clefable, the enemies win chance would not have been any better, like it doesn't matter for Glacion anyway. And the fact that your glacion did more than Miraidon is nuts.
I must confess, I only play mean look when either someone angers me...or there's a Mewtwo, and I want to make them suffer

This build by itself isnt broken. Its just the player and the combination you are using in this video Spragels.
I tryed that build many times, but without staking and without snarl, the enemy teams nearly one shots me.
Umbreon is sooooo weak without snarl and foul play.
And its especially weak if you are not stacking.
And exp share is such a waste on this pokemon too.
I die so often.
So i personaly will stick more to Snarl and Foul play.
More durability and more survivalbility.

I always hear people complain about miraidon and I think it’s only because it’s a ex mon but I think it’s ok because the biggest threat to the game is as you played umbreon and glaceon
Changes that I'd like to see:
No more infinite CC.
No more ex pokemon, balance them
Lower damage output of defenders with high burst
Can’t wait for Kyurem White to come to the game so we can call it Kyurem WHY-te
Now try it with leftovers and a cookie

I can def see why mean look is "broken", but is wish really that good? 🤔Like obviously we cant have it be broken, but I almost hesitate considering running due to how long it sometimes takes to take effect and how little healing it feels it does? At least here you had Eldey with you so your wish plus her puff definitely amounted to big heals when used at the same time.
Wish is def good only if your teammates are not random greninja jungler.

One I got from you and your team during the EU stream, 1 EX character per team or none at all... I've honestly stopped playing ranked, and I have all the EX characters too so I'm not salty for not having them, they just make the game so boring...
Or make all legendaries, mythical and Pseudos EX and give them their own games? There's more than enough of them to give them their own ladder currently in existence...

After watching this video. Played a trio with my friends. 4-1 I play all Umbreon 😅. Have to say I'm again I'm a true novice man and I like simplicity but mean is too easy with major impact every use. You happy Spragels. Yes it's busted. Does it need to be nerf? Yes😢.
Make it a 20 second cooldown because it lasts 3 seconds so its actually a 17 second cool down
And make me eject out of it plz so it's useless
Rework it to not be point-and-click while you're at it. There, done. The only correct way to nerf Mean Look.
When it's part of a good team it's unstoppable. Glaceon is insanely broken.
Miraidon though is not as broken as Mewtwo was. It's still ridiculous but not as bad as Mewtwo. I regularly see Miraidon's with a handful of kills if any. Mewtwo Y in it's prime I never saw any below 10 kills a game.
The speedsters are the only answers for Miraidon currently, as long as it's not running parabolic charge
