Heroes Of Longhope

A tune dedicated to the men who lost their lives in the Longhope Lifeboat disaster, which happened 50 years ago this year. The entire crew were lost, trying to help a ship which had got into trouble during a nasty storm.

Beautiful performance. I would love to learn this. It's amazing to think how much a piece of music can keep a story, a memory or someone's legacy alive for so much longer than the story along. It's a beautiful tribute to those people.

Thanks for your replies! Well I play cello but it doesn't look like it goes particularly high. I have a copy of it in bass clef for cello but the arrangement is slightly different. I'm sure I can figure something out 😊
