- ICELAND is absolutely beautiful. I would wholeheartedly recommend you visit at least once just to experience how amazing it is. Dettifoss, Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss and even the Blue Lagoon! All worth the hike. :)

Amazing footage and edit Ryan! I need to add some of these features to my travel videos! It was great meeting you last week in New York and I look forward to following along with your channel from now on! I'd love to collab on a travel project like this in the future!
It was awesome meeting you man! I'm envious of how often you get to travel haha, going to live vicariously through your channel! Let's definitely collab sometime soon!
This video is so freaking amazing i've enjoyed every second of it
Keep up the good work!
Your transitions are sick!
i could watch this every day
+Cody Barr Iceland for DAYS.
This is just masterpiece.... !
Really cool video! I'm going to Iceland soon...I can't wait!
Enjoy it!!
Great Video Dude! First time that i saw such transitions between the clips :O Very creative way to combine such amazing shots 👌 loved that :D
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it! :)
this video is absolutely stunning i loved every second. it is my personal goal and dream to one day go to iceland and all this did was fuel my dream so thank you for making this it's perfect.
+Ethan Angelos I know I'm late, but I appreciate the kind words Ethan! Please visit as soon as you can, its beautiful!
Awesome sound design! can you tell me where you got the transition sounds from?
Amazing Video!! How did you do those transitions?
Thank you! The transitions were strictly done w/ camera movement. No editing in post, besides cutting the pieces together!
***** Wow that's incredible. Handheld or were you using a Ronin?
Handheld! There is some very light warp stabilization going on in a few shots, ranging from 1-5%. I wish I had my Ronin with me, haha.
Wow that's really impressive then. Ye carrying a ronin would have made the hike more difficult alright haha.
That is very impressive, because it means that you had ideas of how you wanted to transition from one scene to another, or you used exactly the same camera movement for a lot of cuts. Still very impressive. It looks like you used some time ramping during the transitions as well?
Awesome piece. Love the shot where the girl opens and closes her eyes and you zoom to that (not in camera i assume?).
+Sure Thing Video Thank you! You got it, that was done in post. :)
Aaaaand I want to go to Iceland
Do it! It's not super expensive and absolutely breathtaking!
RYAN IM GOING TO ICELAND TOMORROW WHAT SHOULD I DO THERE
Hey Ryan, I really love this video. It reminds me a bit of the Watchtower series, was wondering if you were familiar with them? I really like your transitions, the whip pans are amazing. What sort of editing technique are you using for the little zoom ins and crash outs to another shot? Is that a Premiere effect? Thanks for reading and keep up the great vids!
+Marshall Douglis Hey Marshall, thank you! It's a simple punch in and punch out using motion in Premiere. Nothing complicated!
really really impressive video! Everything was handheld? No stabilizers?
All handheld! I did apply light warp stabilization in post to a few shots (1-5%) but thats it!
Awesome! I really the transitions you used, you should do more with that! Just out of curiosity, what gear did you take with you? Cause I can imagine that when you hike you want to stay light weighted no?
If people like these types of videos/style, I'll definitely be doing more! In terms of gear I was VERY light. Just my Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera, Veydra 12mm lens and a Blackmagic Video Assist mounted to the top. No gimbals/tripods, etc. I'll probably put up a video in the coming days of the gear I use for various videos!
Cool! I look forward to seeing it :)
Definitely need to see more of these types of vids. Any suggestions on where to learn to colour correct like this? Using adobe programs mostly.
