Okay I have seen the same comments On every show this season “this is basically Zara” or “Zara?” But in reality Zara is copying all of these brands so yes of course Zara is going to look similar because the second a look hits a runway Zara is copying it faster than it being posted on vogue runway!
The basics who are getting their "moment " saying again and again that what Maria makes for Dior looks like what zara sells, have obviously never set foot on a Dior store
I usually see tons of criticism against Maria, but i think that what haters do not understand is that she gives great clothes for Women, and women who actually go to the stores to Buy, this are not clothes to please eyes behind a screen watching You Tube. Only if you go to the store you realize this. Congrats Maria Grazia, to you and all the hardworkers at Dior.
people will hate what they can't understand... or whatever threatens or shakes them... so in a way their hate is a sure sign that Maria is truly a force to be reckoned with, cause only fear of greatness can cause up such a stir!!
Jeez Louise I can understand why people hate the collection but people need to understand this is particular reason why Dior is the way it is. As much as I know, Maria Grazia Chiuri is not a fashion designer she’s a business woman. I’ve gone to Dior and Valentino and the staff there have told me that the way she designed her clothes is not in terms of creativity, but in terms of making sure the product sells. this is the reason why I always see a lot of people going crazy for all accessories and do yours always talked about.n
Л К I understand from where you’re coming from however that’s just how the fashion industry works right now only some people can do it and some people just cannot. MGC is a business woman at heart, she is capable of coming up with some creative designs but she works not just works at Dior, but the fashion conglomerate that owns them. They do you have fashion designers that are capable of creating nice designs but LVMH focuses on making products sell ruthlessly.
if they are too expensive these days, then no sale. make stuff affordable. not like Versace, Prada, and others. only a limited number of people buy the expensive stuff, so seeing products and accessories that ordinary folk can buy is more important !
You’re wrong, compared to older day’s fashion, these clothes are with simpler designs, poorer craftsmanship, ugly big logos, but higher prices. This is just sad how this industry is today.

This is yet again a phenomenal collection from one of the few true visionaries of our time! Powerful yet commercially sound as well!! Not a piece in this collection was misplaced and every item so well suited to the woman of today! Unlike so many stiff and archaic collections we see out there all artsy in glam yet truly impractical and suited for those who still have their heads stuck in the backward cobwebs of what they think fashion should be! Maria you have liberated minds and it is clear without any doubt that your work is meant for the strong, the future thinkers and the liberals who are not bound or enslaved by the belief that fashion can never move past the 90's!! you are a breath of fresh air!! Christian would be proud if he could see you now and how you have transformed the stale old stuffy ideals of the past Dior designers into fresh, bold and utterly breathtaking looks which embody what a true woman of style stands for!! WELL DONE! PURE MAGNIFICENCE DIOR!!
I'm in LOVE with these pair of pants in this collection, like finally no more skinny or tapered, its all flowy and baggy and looks both elegant and comfy, if this type of pants are what gonna define 2020s then i'm in!
Fabulous!👍I really like the tone of black deep dark colors, the support of women’s strengths, bring back the previous styles of fashion. But it’s futuristic for women to wear in real life.
The most beautiful clothes I have seen in a long time. I usually consider high fashion a little bit wacky and no offence tacky and granny like. This Dior collection made me unable to move from the screen. This is fashion. Clothes that are gorgeous and that fit the body. Loved this. I disliked the skinny drug addict look of the models though.. Imagine a naomi or Linda in this clothes. Amazing collection nonetheless.
Maria Grazia collections are mostly more about luxurious comfort than complicated extravagance which isn't bad so Maria Grazia is a genius in terms of the female figure who would want to wear gravity defying(but very uncomfortable)high heeled platforms for an everyday wadrobe while you can wear flats and still look elegant ?
Jay stevenson And? Why do people wear corsets? Louboutin’s most sold shoe is one of the highest heeled one, not one of the low heels. People don’t care about comfort when it comes to dazzling beauty. It’s about the drama, the adrenaline, the goosebumps of knowing you’re fabulously beautiful. There is pleasure in that pain, which can be compared to sexual pleasure. Some people go so far to only wear restrictive clothing simply for the pleasure it provides. Women want to feel they’re beautiful, not comfortable.
@@dominicweberbut its all fun until you buy AND wear an piece like a tight corset OR painful shoes OR EVEN. A very heavy evening gown still and have a very difficult time walking down the street gasping for air or taking baby steps because being "cute" is more important than being comfortable there's more to styling than just beauty and Maria Grazia understands that perfectly
Jay stevenson You clearly have no idea. It’s not about being cute, or feeling oppressed or anything. You act like designers are forcing women to wear these huge gowns. Trust: they want to.
