You know when fashion houses are getting boring when you have to look at a Dior collection from twelve years ago to be excited by fashion.
I look down at the comments and most all are negative... Dior would do well to read these... Dior started out as such a sophisticated Fashion House... To dress in Dior showed that one had great taste... Now... there is hardly a shred of it's past glory in these clothes... I see very little in harmony with what the name Dior used to be. Check out the Ralph & Russo collection and you will see what I used to think of when I heard the name Dior... It is really sad to me.... As I have watched the progression of Dior over the past 55 years... I am 73 years old, so I have seen a lot of Dior...

I normally think of elegance & high-class sophistication when I think of the name "Dior" & it's brand, but this collection just. ain't. it. Smh. 😔
Have you searched up their Haute Couture Show? Everyone is whining and I Feel like 75%+ are watching the wrong show, this is a runway show, this isn't couture.

This french house have powerful DNA ,but nowadays it is literally living in a shallow.

Dior is such a shadow of its self that you can literally see through the deflated skirts. You cant even call MGC's skirts full

An amazing fashion show!!! I [personally] think the designer of Christian Dior should make the buckets [hats] for men. I LOVE THEM!!! I have a [vintage] Christian Dior tie that was passed down to me from my Grandfather. He didn't know what he had...but I did!!!
It is a good hat. It is a good collection of dress.
ALBER ELBAZ; in my modest opinion hes the only one out there who is prepared to take Dior to a higuer place were it should be. You just have to look at the magnificence and creativity of his work at Lanvin and it comes very clear that hes the One. I was watching last night his winter collection for Lanvin 2009, Heaven.

I am seriously interested in knowing how DIOR women's wear is performing in global sales since Maria took the throne.
The sales are continuously increasing every week and every month compared to last years. The fashion shows generally don't make justice; people usually hate the collections here on youtube by watching the shows but when they actually mix&match the products and try them personally, they love it
That's because the sales have nothing to do with the fashion. This are the designs I would expect to see in Zara. And people love wearable clothes, nothing wrong with that. And if it has a big gold logo attached to it they would pay silly prices.
Actually, they're love her. She follow major trends, but slowly she erase Dior original DNA season by season. From Soiree and here we now on the Street. I mean, its great major luxury brands reach the streets but its pointless when she make things looks like things that we could get at high street labels like topshop, mango, zara, etc.
Don't worry, those hallow but rich Chinese would buy

Boring, too large and lack of creativity. No good enough for a House like Dior. Its like if Michael Kors designed for Dior in the 90's.
Looks like someone needs to do his research about how Michael Kors career started.
Another season, same clothes in different colours, boring, boring and BORING... she is the most bland designer ever, same with her models who seem to be dead inside, there was literally just Adut and Faretta who did a great job. So if you have a lifeless collection just cast models who have a great energy, not prepare a march of walking dead creatures...
I know I had to rewind when I saw Adut b/c it was the first time i felt something. Not very inspiring tbh

I didn't hate it. I really liked some of the pieces.
What I don't get about these shows is the styling. Ok, I do understand that they are trying to create a "look" but some things are just never going to fly for more than a mere moment. For example, the current trend of slicked (aka greasy looking) hair that's in too many shows recently, socks with strappy heels and sandels, hats that cover 90% of the face, see-through anything and everything. Sure they have a moment in fashion history for a split second but it never lasts long...not with the general public. So, can we put those old not-so-fashion forward "stylized" standards to rest? It's time.

I find it humorous that most of you are watching a fashion show and think its a couture show.
If you want to actually see what Creative Director Maria Grazia Chirui is capable of go watch the HAUTE COUTURE SHOW. Lots of this stuff you'll go in and buy, not that most of you can even afford it based on the intelligence of the comments and lack of attention span.
