IMO Rush is not a rock band. They are a progressive fuse like band. I still have their first album on vinyl I bought brand new. Pau is a big fan from what I've read.
I see The Warning as 1969 Grand Funk Railroad raw as hell.
(Time Machine) Grand Funk's first single when they play in Flint, Mi. would get the crowds heart.

Wow, awesome show! I'm jealous, we don't have any T.V. shows in the U.S.A. where a kick ass band gets to play for a half hour! There are occasionally a "musical guest" that gets to play one or two songs but this is really special. Thanks to the Warning Army for sharing!!
Wonderful performance. They are all awesome. I love Ale's voice and am glad she is singing more! And man, can that young lady pound the bass.
I actually like this very much it's not loaded with backing tracks it's a trio of sisters from Monterrey it's raw but authentic

Due to the technical issues with the sound this should be considered the Warnings equivalent to GNR in the ritz in 1988, in that the special talent and energy came through in spite of it sounding not as good as it should.

@@tomcruise8603 - It's not how many songs but how much time they have. If they're early shows its anywhere between 20 to 30 mins. Between 3pm & 5pm, they'll get 30 to 45. That's if they're playing the main stage. There are three stages at Rockville. If they play at the smaller (which I believe they will) stage. They should get about 50 minutes.
Just saw The Warning will have a 30 minute set (4:25-4:55) on Sunday. *POSSIBLITY* might be livestream on "dwpresents" (Danny Winner Presents) Twitch channel. Not real positive on that. But after 5:00pm. That's when the big bands starts.

When I listened to the studio version of "Z" I didn't realize it was Pau singing the "I think that we should" part at the end.
Pau had mentioned that it was her and Dany singing "Z" together a several weeks back,and there were folks who said it was just Dany when the " Mayday EP" was released. Well this performance just proved they were wrong.

For me is a toss up between Animosity and Choke for the #1 spot. Disciple in third, Evolve, Z and then Martirio. As of right now Animosity is winning by a nose LOL
Perhaps because of the bass sounding tougher, grungier. More up in the mix also. Ale should use a pick more often!

This new album is really the first time Dani has added more power chords and more lead solo.
Yeah, but the power chords make them sound like everyone else, I don't dislike the new stuff but I think its a less original sound overall than QOTMS
@@barclaybass2327 but it also makes them sound Heavier. And that's why I like, the heavy side of the Warning...Not much in the regular lighter rock songs, just the ones that border on hard rock with a touch of metal thrown in....
@@barclaybass2327 they’re doing a hell of a better job than most bands tho and especially being so young they only have more time to grow. They’re paving the way and setting an example
@@barclaybass2327 I don't necessarily disagree with you, but with these songs they can vary their playlist from venue to venue. Just before the pandemic, when watching a Warning show on UA-cam, I found myself sometimes experiencing it as a rerun of a previous show. These new songs work well live, I believe and will allow them to be a bit more varied.
